Strategy to be used by Manchester United moving forward into the future a little too pedestrian and a little too stone age to be successful in modern football.  Simply put Manchester United's use of poor strategy appears to be one of the main factors, if not the main problems why Manchester United appears to have hit a major slump in what was expected to be the season where Ole Gunner Solskjaer proves himself as the right choice moving forward.  During the Norweigian manager term as interim manager, the signs shown by Solskjaer as manager were hunger, tenacity and creating chances even against the biggest odds. Qualities that made the Manchester United owners believe at the end of Solskjaer interim season as a manager that Manchester United had found the right man. Massive improvement and determination to still s ecure a place in the top four of the Premier League table appear to be the message echoed around Old Trafford this past couple of weeks. While on going rumors suggesting that Ole Gunner Solskjaer term as manager might be coming to an early end next year  continue to surface around Old Trafford, Manchester United's performance in the last two weeks appears to suggest that the managers message regarding improved performance was heard loud and clearly by the players.   Sitting currently in the 7 th spot of the Premier League table with a 7 point gap between the Red Devils and the current fourth-place team on the Premier League standing l ooking like a small gap to cover compared t o the position Manchester United had found themselves in less t han t wo months ago .
