The current quarantine effect on Manchester United football club continues to grow from bad to worse for the Red Devils. Manchester United recently witnessed the current 2019/20 season come to halt during the second half of the season as a result of the Global battle against the deadly COVID-19 virus.    At the moment, Manchester United football club is staring down the barrel of having the rest of the 2019/20 season abandoned with the 2020/21 season prepared to start during the period of  August 2020. 31-year-old Nemanja Matic or 26-year-old Paul Pogba to remain at Manchester United?    One of these two players has to remain a Manchester United player before the start of the 2020/21 season. The Red Devils clearly have a dilemma which the football club, unintentionally , put themselves into after Manchester United decided to withhold decision makings regarding two of the clubs' important players in Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba with both midfielders current contracts coming to an end at the end of the current 2020 calendar year.    The good news for Manchester United is that the Red Devils still have a one-year contract extension clause left to be triggered in both existing contracts for Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic which the club has graciously accepted to activated in the case of the Serbian midfielder as of March 28, 2020. As a result, Matic is now set to remain a Manchester United calendar year.  The new offer
