MANCHESTER UNITED CURRENTLY FACING AN ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN PRESENT FOR A WHILE
The situation of a split team is really the real core problem Manchester United is currently facing at the moment. The split team situation is simply a case where two members of the team, the manager and one player who has established himself as the leader of the team are caught in a disagreement resulting in some members of the team to decide who to support. Most people, such as football fans and football journalist might label this action as irresponsible and immature but around Old Trafford, immaturity and unprofessional attitude seem to be in vogue at the moment. Mourinho was unprofessional, Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and Eric Cantona were at some point in their Career moody and professional. Now the recent news from Old Trafford claims that Marcus Rashford might be next in line to pick an argument with the current club Manager Jose Mourinho. This issue of disharmony and lack of communication within the Manchester United team cannot be deemed as a new problem which came out of nowhere because, in reality, the lack of communication and lack of harmony present inside the Manchester United team truthfully has been brewing withen Old Trafford since the middle of last season.
If anyone whom is interested in manchester United cared enough to search the team up and see the news surrounding Manchester United, then the talk about Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba having a possible fall out will not supprise any football lover anymore. Earlier last two weeks Wednesday, a video of Manchester United training while Jose Mourinho appeared to have said some few words which caused Paul Pogba to take a sudden pause, with a faint shocked expression and turn towards Mourinho. Various media have gone on all through this past week, to deem that both Mourinho and Paul Pogba had exchanged unplesent words which signals that both parties are no longer on the same page with eachother. On Friday september 28, mourinho appeared on his important press conference and cancelled out the rumours that there was a fall out between himself and Paul Pogba. When asked what the conversation was about, the Manchester United manager refused to comment on the issue saying : "I can not tell you what the conversation was about. You had some camera with the potential to get some of the words, maybe you (jounalists) have to change the potential of your camera if you want to know everything that happens on the training pitch because i'm not going to comment. It was just a conversation." As expected, Jounalists and even a number of Manchester United fans have jumped on the story with theories such as Mourinho and a number of Manchester United players are not on the same page which will eventually lead to Mourinho loosing his possition as Manchester United manager next season.
The suggestion that Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho are not on the same page even on a proffessional level or the rumours that Jose Mourinho is currently faced with the possibility of lossing his job as manager of Manchester United at the end of the season should all be seen as irrelivent to be honest. Manchester United have had player and manager comfrontations in the past which was eventually resolved by the two parties acting proffessional and the club has to demand that Mourinho and Paul Pogba stay proffessional, both men should put the problems behind, move forward and face the current issue of succeeding in the curent season. Some sittuations calls for a moment of realization before the solution of a problem can be applied and in this case, both Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho need to realize that their desire to Manchester United's top dog is hindering the teamfrom success. Both men need to set aside their egos and work together for the good of the team .
Sadly this long, dark, tunnel which evidently appears to have no light at the end is the path Manchester United is still heading into. Three seasons, one FA cup throphy , one EFL throphy and one Europa League all will count as possitive achievements under Mourinho’s belt as Manchester United manager but Mourinho has continiously remained incappable of winning the big Trophies with Manchester United and the question is why? With the Managerial record a man like Mourinho has that includes a history of leading football clubs lacking in terms of the quantity of star footballers in comparison to Manchester United, the expectation thrown in the direction of Jose Mourinho when the Portuguese took over at Old Trafford was that given the clubs ability to sign star players Mourinho will succeed in Manchester United. Three seasons and around more 100 million pounds on recruiting players and Mourinho is still incapable of winning the important Trophies at Old Trafford. Why? what is the reason such a manager whom has been known to succeed in the past find himself incapable of succeeding at Manchester United even when the club has provided enough players around him to aid Mourinho in winning trophies and yet Manchester United is still incapable of winning a Premier League or UEFA Champions League. High time Manchester United realize the souce of the clubs current problem is that Old Trafford is run by a manager whose strategies have changed. A manager whose strategies does not correspond with Manchester United style of play.
Lossing football matches Manchester United should be winning. Putting the blame on his own players rather than himself, deploying confussing strategies in some cases... e.t.c. simply unbelievable to think that the man whom was expected to be the reason for Manchester Uniteds return to glory appears to be the source of Manchester Uniteds recent lack of success. The fans are ultimately stuck in the middle of two sources of disasters at the moment in Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward, leaving the Manchester United players as the only hope for success for the fans at the moment. Things can still Change for Manchester United in the near future if the club starts playing better football sooner rather than later and reports are starting to suggest that Ed Woodward might still be willing to recruit and let go of some players during the 2019 January transfer window. But no amount of transfer bussiness will turn the club into Champions if the manager is not ready to WIN!
