MANCHESTER UNITEDS ISSUES POSSIBLY INCLUDES PLACING EGO'S OVER SUCCESS

Is Jose Mourinho purposefully bringing all this negative view on himself perhaps ? Is Jose Mourinho purposefully implementing football that lacks quality and carrying out actions which are uncharacteristic of any Manchester United manager for the sole purpose of being the center of attention at Old Trafford? Ridiculous! Might be a natural reaction of any optimistic football fan whom this question is thrown at. Why would any manager involved in modern day football willingly put himself or herself in a position where the manager is seen as a failure by the fans that welcomed the manager in the first place and why will any manager choose to risk losing a job intentionally? Absolutely makes no ounce of sense. Anyone in support of Manchester United football club will most likely address the notion that Jose Mourinho is yet to succeed at Manchester United because Jose Mourinho willingly chooses not to succeed might simply be viewed as mad. A proven professional, a charismatic person and a proven winner. Why will a manager with such quality intentionally burn his bridges at Manchester United?

Publicity!  Ah, publicity of course!... wait, hold on? Publicity? Why would such a famous manager in charge at one of the most popular football club worldwide, choose to put out such a negativity about his ability to succeed at Manchester United? According to the analysts Jon Champion, Sabastian Salazar, Steve Cole, and Kesey Keller, Mourinho implements poor football strategies, fall out of favor with his players because Jose Mourinho likes the attention. At first, anyone might be tempted to disagree but when you stop and analyze the facts, there might be some slight truth to the comment.

To be honest, most people will agree that they are growing increasingly tired of hearing all the negative “conspiracies” directed towards Jose Mourinho and fed out by the media to the public to feed off of. Which, unfortunately, the Manchester United fan community do feed off on but for good reason most of the time. There is no smoke without the tiniest spark of fire after all.  The media do make Manchester United the clear target of the negative criticism and viewing the level criticism from the topmost fans will be quick to label the criticism from most of the pundits as biased banter aimed at Manchester United.

However, most Manchester United fans will be urged to think deeply and look beneath the surface before casting away the views of some of today's serious football analysts. Consider this, most of the opinions about Manchester United from today's football pundits, though harsh and critical, are necessary comments said by retired Manchester United player who possibly wants nothing more than to see Manchester United football club succeed and prosper. Why will you want to bring down a club you love and support? There is no fresh, different, news to report in the case of Manchester United simply because the same old case of the manager refusing to implement quality football on the pitch still remains unsolved most of the time at Old Trafford.

The problem of lack of quality football being played at Manchester United on a more consistent basis is a problem the club should not be facing at any point in the future especially considering the number of quality players currently present at the football club. This point has been made so many times by football analyst and by the fans of Manchester United football club as well that repeating this notion is simply boarder line redundant at this stage.

The point in question is the one that states that Manchester United currently have enough quality players in the team for the fans and the viewers alike to expect expansive, attacking football to be played by Manchester United %75 of the times Manchester United step on the football pitch to play a match. The truth is that at this point in time, if Manchester United truly desires to win any important Trophy this season, then now is not the time to go for the trophies, vigorously, through the level of football played all through the season.

The point of ego’s, top dogs and who calls the shots at Manchester United is simply the wet blanket that constantly put out the fire of creativity and limits the level of success just waiting to be had at Manchester United. Ed Woodward wants players won't cost too much money to bring into the club yet the players to be brought into the club must still possess high quality in the player's style of football. Just enough quality to excite the fans even if one exciting player will not necessarily win trophies for Manchester United single-handedly.

Meanwhile, Mourinho on his own rights appears to simply want yes men on the pitch. A player that will carry out the strategies of the manager to the tee and avoid straying from the norm. Players are meant to be free to create and free to express themselves on the pitch. Freedom to create more often than none inspires success and creative players require a lot of capital. If Manchester United truly want to succeed in winning a major trophy soon, Jose Mourinho needs to encourage the players to create by using more attacking strategies supported by a substantial amount of defensive strategy. Also, the Manchester United board of directors need to adopt a reasonable open-minded approach when the time comes to supporting the managers' transfer plans.

Furthermore, if Jose Mourinho and the Manchester United board of directors are both seriously intent on showing the fans that winning trophies is still, strongly, on the agenda for things to come for Manchester United football club, January 2019 will be the magic hour to pull the trigger which will propel Manchester United to the level of champions the club is currently craving to return to so badly. But the question is what exactly is Jose Mourinho missing in his team that is currently eluding Manchester United of that coveted trophy? Some say full backs, others say at least one extra center back.

Moving on to the point of center back reinforcement, most analysts and football will have to agree that in today's world of football, having strong center backs allows the team to exploit the teams attacking quality to full effect with little fear of any counter-attacking threats from the opponent. Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Eric Baily good enough to rest the teams' entire defensive hopes on should Manchester United decide to deploy a full-on attacking strategy? Evidence gotten from history suggest not likely.

Finally, look! if there are people, be the person a player, a manager, a board member or a stockholder who holds a certain level of authority in Manchester United, that feels personal agendas are greater than the desire Manchester United fans have of winning a trophy, well then, that will be the source of Manchester United's issues at the moment. No personal desire should ever overshadow the desire of the greater public supporters and well-wishers of Manchester United.  So, how can this be resolved from now till July 2019?

In terms of the upcoming January 2019 moving all the way up till the end of the 2019 summer transfer window, definitely will not prove a difficult task to predict which positions Manchester United fans will need more attention to detail over every other position in Manchester United squad and that position is none other than the fullback position. Last season Manchester United fans made no attempts to limit their opinions when the topic of improving the fullback options at Manchester United was brought up. Lots of talented names were mentioned as possible replacements for the aging Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young, two of whom must are not natural full backs by trade. Needless to say that despite the endless encouragements given to Mourinho by Manchester United fans, the Manchester United manager decided to settle for a young fullback in Diogo Dallot, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia. For the record, Diogo  Dallot has barely played two games this season for Manchester United. Interesting!

In this modern day of football where the presence of young, quick, fullbacks helps a team expand creativity on the pitch and put a strain on how comfortable the opposition feels during a match be a tiny aspect of team improvement Manchester United should consider making this January instead of having the club Manager put himself on the spotlight occasionally through questionable decisions? should the effect the absence of at least four, young, fullback will surely have on Manchester United this season really come as a surprise to anyone watching the team? Not really! The point is that Manchester United might have seemingly put themselves in the part of success but deviate from the goal of operating together to win for the sole purpose of egocentrism must be a chain of thought of Jose Mourinho and The Manchester United Board Members must avoid.
