MANCHESTER UNITED MAKES FRONT PAGE NEWS WITH MOURINHO OUT
Manchester United fail to win once again and chants of “Mourinho Out” echoed softly through the crowds of Manchester United fans. Manchester United slowly dawned the shape the shape of a football club struggling to achieve success once again for the past three seasons even though the club still maintains the highest honor of one of the richest football club in the world.
Signing top footballers after top footballers, The Red Devils (the clubs famous nickname) have not shied away from mixing it up with the top richest football clubs in the world because Manchester United, in their own right, have proven to be just as rich as any other top gun football club in the world. However, with all the financial power the club hold, why has the club struggled to succeed in winning a single trophy in any major European and the major domestic competition for the past four seasons at least? Lack of quality player in the club? The club owners are tired of making a profit directly from the clubs success? Or have the players just lost the passion to succeed while playing for Manchester United? Do the players lack the desire of lifting trophies while wearing the Manchester United jersey?
All these questions, though could still be considered as possible scenarios barricading the club from any recent success, are simply irrelevant because no club owner would invest money in a club without carrying the goal of success in mind. Same notion applies to the Manchester United player in the sense that players, who have been proven to harbor so much quality and potential as footballers through evidence of performances these players have shown for the previous club can not, after signing for such massive club known to strive for nothing but the best, decide not to play their best football while wearing a Manchester United jersey.
The pieces have already fallen into place as far as locating the source of Manchester United problems from the harsh, critical, words coming from newspaper articles, sports television pundits, to the words expressed by Manchester United fans from various social media outlets, all putting a large of the blame for Manchester United's recent “slump” on Jose Mourinho .
Current captain of Manchester United, Antonio Valencia, apologizes for liking a post on social media captioned “Time for Mourinho to go” accidental? Absolutely! However, how much damage has the action had in fueling the Mourinho out campaign? Manchester United board of directors rumored to be ready to hold a meeting with another candidate for the position of Manchester United Manager next season but the recent chatter suggests that the possible candidate considered to be appointed as Manchester United manager next season might not be the candidate Manchester United fans have been anticipating to land the position next season.
The news surrounding Old Trafford is certainly coming in thick and fast as we arrive in the month of October but for anyone who has been keeping up to date with all the action or lack of ACTION happening with Manchester United recently, hardly surprising to hear that Manchester United have been cast in the leading roles of such issues as Managerial change but this is the reality Manchester United have to face until the club returns to playing the level of quality football which requires more wins during matches than losses. In other words, playing football that pleases the clubs fan base and the level of football shown by Manchester United for the past three seasons proves Jose Mourinho is simply not the man to lead Manchester United back to playing elite football.
The fans want a change and the answer to solving the situation at Old Trafford appears to be unanimous amongst quite a few football analysts today: For Manchester United to thrive, Jose Mourinho either has to change his tactical approach or Mourinho steps down as Manchester United manager. The results from this past two weeks were the results that really tipped the boiling anger that has been simmering underneath for the fans. Manchester United fans can be a very understanding group when considering how to judge the performance of their team. Lossing games to teams considered to be one of the top teams in the Premier League can be viewed as a difficult but reasonable loss by the fans. Playing mediocre football yet still getting the victories to need to secure one of the top-four spots in the table has proven to be a result that tends to be acceptable in recent seasons at Manchester United.
However, the reason why the fans are showing serious signs of reaching the limits of their patience is because Manchester United appear to have transformed into a team that neither plays entertaining, attacking football nor a team that plays defensive football yet still gets the wins needed to finish top of the table leaving the fans with almost nothing to look forward to each season. Seeing the Manchester United fans spend a good amount of money on season tickets and on some money on tickets to watch the club play Champions League football and in return watch, the team plays lackluster football almost consistently will make anyone understand why the fans are starting to demand some type of change in the club. Looking back on the number of star players Jose Mourinho has had under his wing during his time as Manchester United manager, anyone can easily ask the question “Why has Manchester United still failed to win a major trophy with Mourinho”?
No one except Mourinho himself will truly know why Manchester United have failed to succeed under the control of the Portuguese manager but some pundits have had interesting opinions about Jose Mourinho’s future progress at Manchester United will come down to should the club continue on the difficult trail Manchester United is currently on.
“ A very tepid performance from a team that just looked totally ordinary! it just was not Manchester United! Even when they( Manchester United) scored a goal, there was no sense that the team was going to it around now. First off, West Ham played well, take nothing away from them but Manchester United just had nothing about them. No one was going at top speed. They were no one turning the screws and unfortunately, there’s one person staring at you whose to blame and that’s on Jose Mourinho."

The writing is clear for anyone to see and a lot of people are aware at the moment that there is no type of success to be had for Manchester United should the club keep heading down the same path Mourinho is currently taking the club. The solution is clear, the manager either has to change his style of Management or find another club that suits his style of Management.
