MANCHESTER UNITED MATCH PACKAGE: EVERTON COMES TO TOWN!

Match patch weekend is upon the Manchester United fans once again. Yes! A weekend where every person involved with Manchester United football club, gets a chance to forget the hustle and bustle that come with the weekday and have a chance to take a seat in front of the television. As for the lucky  one who gets the opportunity to secure a match ticket, this weekend is a time to get dressed in your comfortable attire (possibly includes the prestigious Manchester United jersey or  the equally prestigious Manchester United scarf) and head on over to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United beat the stuffing out of Everton.

Bonus, there will be no Wayne Rooney to stir up any nostalgic emotions and probably a little bit of sympathy for the Everton team.  PS: Romelu Lukaku is a Manchester United player now.  Added Bonus! All things considered, should Jose Mourinho decide to start the match with an attacking  intent, Everton might be ready to recieve an old fashion beat down at the hand of Manchester United this weekend.

Hold on Manchester United! Dont get too ahead of yourselves now! The reality is that no one expects Everton to head to Old Trafford and lay down to accept defeat. Everton will put up a fight that a certin and unless heads into Saturdays match in good form and heads into Saturdays match with top finishing, victory is definately not asured for Manchester United on Saturday. Granted, Everton might not neccessarily have Romalu Lukaku, Paul Pogba, Alex Sanchez, Anthony Martial and a host of other star  players on their team but Everton is a team that works together as a unit. Much like the Spartan army, all Everton needs is on very good oportunity and the Toffees can breaK anyone. Manchester United must remember heading into this weekends match: Everton can not be taken for granted!

The delightfull news for Manchester United heading into this weekends game against Everton is that only a few players name seems to have entered into the injury list heading into this weekends match. Who expected this delightful news coming in Manchester Uniteds direction? The Premier League season is almost at October and usually at this point at this point in the season, news will be delivered from the grounds of Old Trafford that a list of a couple of Manchester United have unfortunately been sidelined as a result of a sustained injury. Must be a breath of fresh air for Mourinho to know his Manchester United team will kick off a match at Old Trafford this season with a variety of healthy player options on the bench.

Sometimes having a full squad of healthy player will not always produce the attacking option atticipated. Illuminating the idea that having the options of having healthy players gifted with attacking quality on your roster will always result in the team playing high spirited, high attacking football might be a little bit of a naive assumption would you not agree? Manchester United might have a squad filled with players whom have enough attacking potential to break everton open but having enough attacking quality in the team does not neccessarily guarentee Manchester United will attack Everton will all guns blazing.

Considering the quality the Everton team possess from full backs Shemus Coleman and Leighton Banes, not to mention the midfield strenght in the form of Gylfi Siguson, Idris Gaya e.t.c, Everton can still play the role of spoillers, successfully, this weekend at Old Trafford.

How unfortunate for Manchester United, led by the usual composed Jose Mourinho, that victory was unfortunately snatched away from the Red Devils last weekend through a cruel, last minute, strike, from Chelsea’s new apperent hero Ross Barkely denying Manchester United the sweet feeling of a back to back victory in the early stages of the Premier League season. The points shared between Chelsea and Manchester United must have left the Manchester United team a little disheartened knowing that the level of concerted effort and high quality exhibited by Manchester United should have been enough to see the players gain a little more the the two points droped last week.

However, a point gained is always better than a 3 points relinquished and Manchester United surpporters must be encouraged from what they saw from the Red Devils in Standford Bridge. Absolutely great attacking football was shown from the Red team for almost the entire 90 minutes of the match last week against Chelsea which must have left most Manchester United fans very proud of their team and the same level of performance will be expected from Manchester United this weekend against Everton.

Here is a point worth considering, certinly there is sure to be some controversy with this idea but the idea might still be worth considering in this weeks game against Everton so here is the idea:  If Alexis Sanchez had not sustained his recent injury should Antony Martial and Paul Pogba have started on the bench in this weekends game against Everton maybe? Absolutely not will probably be the answer runnng through the minds of most Manchester United supporters! Fair enough. But consider this: will this be a fair statement to make to say the French duo have been absolutely fantastic for both club and country and have earned some resting periods on the bench this week?

Besides, considering the delightfull form young Marcus Rashford has been on for both club and country recently, maybe Manager Jose Mourinho will handed the young english man another spot in the starting line up in this weekends match against Everton regardless of Alexis Sanchez fitness. Andreas Pereira and Fred   might be handed the task of  taking charge in the midfield with Nemanja Matic or Ander Herera operating as the holding midfielder. The choiceof which group of players getsthe starting spot in the midfield this weekend does not appear to be too limited and the choice is so down to the manager to fiddleand come up with the best winning combination for the weekend.

The point is that from the evidence of the past two matches Manchester United have encountered against Newcastle and Chelsea, Manchester United is starting to show through their football that the team just might have enough fire power in the club this season to escape the memory of static, defensive football Manchester United clearly adopted in their style of football last season. should Jose Mourinho decide to allow his players apply that attacking, ressilient, style of football against Everton this weekend, Manchester United have a strong chance of ending this weekends clash at Old Trafford with three points safely in the bag.
