THE BATTLE BETWEEN MANCHESTER UNITED & BORUSSIA DORTMUND FINALLY OVER ?

The deal is not off! Such massive news that Manchester United fans will receive as the best information they have received in August 2020.

Manchester United have been on a meltdown over the past couple of days in August over the news coming from Germany that stated Borussia Dortmund is demanding €120 million for their superstar player, a demand which Borussia Dortmund has every reason to place especially if Borussia Dortmund has no reason to let go of a player who is now a major superstar in the current Borussia Dortmund team. This is the situation Manchester United appear to have found themselves in. 120 million for Jadon Sancho or walk away! This information will not come as a shock to Manchester United fans or sports fans simply because the information was made available to the general public over four months ago. What will come as a surprise to some sports fans is the level of inconsistency shown by Manchester United in regards to the Jadon Sancho business deal.

According to what is understood here at ManchesterUnitedChannel, Manchester United want to sign Jadon Sancho before the end of the 2020 summer season because the Red Devils believe Jadon Sancho is the right player that brings the finishing touches to an already improved Manchester United team. The roadblock between Manchester United and Jadon Sancho has never been doubts over the level of quality the player possesses. No! The roadblock stopping a po1ential move to Manchester United for Jadon Sancho has always been and continues to be the price demanded by Borussia Dortmund, not because the player in question is not worth 120 million but because at the moment, Manchester United football believes the price is too much to part with especially amid an Economic situation

In fairness, looking at the picture from the outside, there is a clear understanding as to why Borussia Dortmund is demanding the current price because 120 million is what a player like Jadon Sancho is worth. But at the same time, there should some level of understanding afforded to Manchester United’s board of directors this summer.

Picture this. At the moment, the annual revenue recorded by Manchester United football club stands at around 796 million in the entirety of last. Now to a lot of the Manchester United fan base as well as the majority of football lovers and football “aficionados” out in the modern world, 796 million is a lot of money, which in all fairness, 796 million is a lot of money only when you have not factored in how much of the revenue will be automatic expenditure. Here is a reality check for sports lovers who are especially interested in any business involving Manchester United, players are not cheap! That is the main point.

Consider this, Manchester United are currently facing a global crisis along with the rest of the world and as a result, Manchester United as a business brand not only will concern themselves and the players, the managers and every single worker involved with Manchester United safe and compensated but Manchester United also had to pay off the increased taxes which was automatically demanded from government of the united kingdom. Now consider this fact as well, one of the players on a low-income range in the current Manchester United roaster is currently earning about is currently earning £500.00 in annual wages.

Not a lot but when you factor in the reality that the club spends an estimated 400 million a year at least on Manchester United's first-team players' salary before the added increased taxes to be imposed for the rest of 2020 and onward, 120 million for Jadon Sancho plus a couple more signings can quite understandably be difficult feet to accomplish in 2020 even for a club as wealthy as Manchester United football club.

The beauty of working on articles such as this is that there is always the possibility of receiving live, new, information as the article is being prepared to be delivered and that is exactly the case at the moment. As of August 12, 2020, Manchester United Channel has received new relevant information involving the Jadon Sancho situation and this information appears to be a major blow to Manchester United aspirations of signing Jadon Sancho this summer and at the same time, the information received directly from Borussia Dortmund appear to have Automatically put a major halt to rumors of Jadon Sancho leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer.

“We plan on having Jadon Sancho on our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all of our questions.”                                                                                              (Micheal Zorc, Sky Sports August 10, 2020)

Heartbreaking news for Manchester United but a reality check non the less that sometimes things don’t always go as planned and each football club must endeavor to have a plan B heading into the transfer window especially for this 2020 summer season. The question to address now is do Manchester United have any plan B in terms of signing at least one impactful player who can add to Manchester  United's attack next season? At the moment no concrete talks are coming out of the Carrington grounds linking Manchester United with any serious moves this 2020 summer transfer window.

On a positive front, one of the elite stars within  Manchester United's current roaster Paul Pogba appears poised to commit his long-term future to Manchester United. The French midfielder who has been regularly thoughted of as having one foot out of Old Trafford is now reportedly ready to commit his long-term future to Manchester United and the next article here at Manchester United Channel website will focus on just how realistic the deal between Manchester United and Paul Pogba is to happen.

Until then, to all the readers and visitors of Manchester United Channel, thanks for stopping by.  See you next week.
