The sale process which is currently ongoing at Manchester United is understood could be a process when completed that will essentially relinquish the current 100% ownership the Glazers have on Manchester United and cut the Glaziers' grip of the ownership structure at Manchester United down to a projected 55% rate should any of the various consortiums who have officially launched a bid to acquire ownership of Manchester United successfully meet the £1 billion price range which the Glazers have estimated Manchester United is worth. The £1 billion price has so far been significantly met as concrete bids from two respective hierarchies from different continents have successfully placed a bid matching the £1 billion price range that the Glazers have requested,
