Major Changes @ Old Trafford

August 6 2015

With the season over and the club overcoming all the obstacles such as injuries to key players, lack of creative players in the midfield and little threats on the attacking front, it is safe to say that the team is ready to put the disappointment of last season behind them and look forward to better things.

I know I previously spoke of the impact a player like Di Maria should have had on the team but with his quick departure to Paris Saint German(PSG) it seems the expectations that Di Maria will blossom as a footballer at Manchester United will not be fulfilled. The transfer was probably the best idea for both the club and the player because Manchester United was not the club Di Maria had originally wanted to move to and after his home at Yorkshire was broken into, it became apparent that his desire to leave to leave Old Trafford had intensified because his lack of happiness began to show through his performance and body language on the field

Personally, I think the club handled the Angel Di Maria issue quite well by cashing in on the next offer put in by PSG and letting the player go because it is never a good idea to keep a player in a club especially when the player has lost the passion and the desire to play for that club.
