       According to the latest poll i recently conducted on my own, it seems that a few majority  of Manchester United  fans are starting to think that the legendary Manchester United Striker Wayne Rooney is starting to approach the age where his ability to create goals diminishes drastically. England Striker Rooney Thirty years old is currently one of Manchester United and England's all time Record goal scorer but in the last two season Rooney's quickness and productivity in front of goal have been called into question. Also with the inclusion of fast young attackers like Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay and new Old Trafford sensation Marcus Rashford into the squad some fans have become so confident with the the new look of the team that they have started to suggest that Rooney should be sold this Summer.

                                                                    

    Rooney signed a four year contract extension in the year 2014 under former Manchester United Manager David Moyes for a reported sum of £300,000 a week which means that the Red Devil and England striker to remain a Manchester United player for the next two years and since then Rooney has been involved in over atleast 400 goals  manchester united has scored either he is burying the ball in the back of the net himself or he is helping his teammates grab a few goal for himself.
                                         
                                          


        So with this statistics in mind, not including the energy Rooney injects into the team, his creativity and Rooney Willingness to do whatever the teams asks of him and his ability to play in multiple positions, why is it that with all this positive qualities in Rooney's resume, why is it that some Manchester United fans are still suggesting that when has reached his limit as a Manchester United player and should be sold this summer.

Quit frankly i think Rooney should be convinced to remain a Manchester United player till he retires because not only is Rooney a great leader that brings out the best on his team mates both on and off the field but also because of his passion for Manchester United football club and fans . I don’t think Manchester United will ever be able to replace a player like Rooney if the club runs the risk of looses the a player of Rooney's caliber prematurely  so i think the fans should adjust to Rooney's current style of play. Rooney might not be the same prolific goal scorer when he was younger but Rooney still has the ability to adjust his game and help Manchester United achieve more success in the future. Rooney might not be fastest or youngest striker in the premiere league but Rooney is still prolific in front of goal.
