TOP FOUR ALMOST ON THE PALM OF OUR HANDS
I think the
most important fact I would like to point out today is that less than six games
to go, Manchester United is currently sitting in fifth place with a one point
gap from fourth place team Arsenal and two points behind our biggest rivals Manchester City whom are
Currently sitting in third place in the Premier League Table. Meaning that if
Manchester City and or Arsenal drop six points from now till the end of the
Season and Manchester United will
quickly occupy the third place position in the Premier League Table, meaning
automatic qualification to next season's Champions League will be guaranteed.
After the victory
over Crystal Palace yesterday through the help of some quality Football played
by Manchester United players all over the pitch including some standout
players like Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and of cause Matteo
Darmian, it was clear that Manchester United player are starting to realize
that Champions League Football Next Season is not as far fetched as the
media is making out to be.
During the match
against Crystal Palace Manchester United simply showed that the confidence and
swagger the club is capable of showing through their play in the field is
starting to return to the club. More ball possession, more precision, more accuracy, all these were
apparent in Manchester United's football yesterday against Palace but the big
question is can Manchester United maintain this standard of play for the
remainder of the season and make their way to Fourth place or even third place
in the Barclays Premier League? The Board will expect it to happen, the Fans
will hope so and the players along with the Coaching Staff are certainly eager
to deliver, let’s hope the team will be
able to put it all together and get the club back to the Champions League at the
end of the season.
Before I sign out, I would like Congratulate Wayne Rooney on his recent return from Injury back
into the starting line up for Manchester United first team. Wazza return to the team saw
him line up in midfield alongside Schneiderlin. Rooney's accurate passes and surging runs up front
towards the Crystal Palace penalty box was instrumental in yesterday's win over Palace. Rooney was substituted around the 75th minute to probably allow him
time to rest and prepare for the FA Cup replay game against West Ham but
judging from his performance from yesterdays game, I have a feeling Rooney will
be ready.
