MOURINHO: THE REAL DEAL
Good Day everyone from different parts of the world and thank you for taking the time to visit RedFanBlogger. The Blog that focus on topics or issues circulating in and around Manchester United football club. A lot has happened in Old Trafford this past month, like Manchester United smashing transfer record books and flexing the club's financial muscle to make four great signings that has totally flipped football's transfer market record book upside down and in the process, snatched financial control in the world of football away from Spanish Football giant Real Madrid and French side, Paris Saint Germain football club. Manchester United's blockbuster summer started off with the shocking revelation that the club had sealed the signing of 22 year old ivory coast Center Back Eric Bailey. Bailey is quick, strong, versatile, fearless, agile, smart and he has an eye for goal. For any manchester United fan who is familiar with Jose Mourinho's club and players history then you will notice that Bailey is the right mixture of Makelele, Terry, and Vidic combined together. No wonder Mourinho had no second thoughts of spending £ 30 million to bring the lad over from Villarreal to old trafford and honestly, the Manchester United family from the Board members to the fans are extremely happy to have him because he will help bring back that fear factor that has been lacking in the club's defence since the days of vidic and Ferdinand. A few days after the signing of Bailey Manchester United football club announced another signing, this time it was in the form the tremendously talented Armenian winger from Borussia Dortmund. Known as one of big four for Borussia along with Jakub Blaszczykowski, Marco Reus and Robert Lewandowski, Mkhitaryan silky, smooth, quick footwork, speed and willingness to set up his teammates in good goal scoring positions made him a quick target and buy for coach Jose Mourinho as soon as the portuguese was unveiled as the new Manager at old trafford and with the number of titles, skills and assists listed on his resume, it’s clear to see why Mkhitaryan or Mykie as his called by some of his teammates and fans is clearly loved around Old Trafford. Next player, well I have said this before in my previous Blog post but I will gladly repeat myself again just to show how excited myself, the manchester united family starting from the owners to the players and of cause how excited the fans are to have such a massive player wearing the Manchester United jersey. “Next up we signed the big, bad, skillful, powerful, goal scoring machine Zlatan Ibrahimovic, just when you think Mourinho is done he signs Ibrahimovic. You can imagine the delight and the rush of adrenaline in the minds of Manchester United fans, players and fans when the news about the signing of Ibrahimovic arrived to not just Carrington but also to every Manchester United fan around the world. It’s amazing, absolutely amazing for Manchester United players and fans to know that the strength of the team has Intensified with the addition of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the team. I don't know if there is a team in a different country that ibrahimovic has played for and he failed to win a title, Spain, Italy, Netherland and France. He’s won so many trophies and gained a lot of experience and knowledge for the game of football and now he is bringing all his knowledge and quality to Old Trafford. The fans are ecstatic, the whole team is excited for the season and I’m just looking forward to watching him play for the club for the rest of the season”. He’s on a one year contract from PSG but I have a feeling that before or at the end of this season Manchester United would gladly hand the big striker a contract extension to extend his stay at Old Trafford. Especially if Manchester United make it back into the UEFA Champions League next season which I have no doubt in my mind they will do.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is a midfielder that can protect the back four as well as the attack with our strikers. He has won several titles such as the world cup, champions league, UEFA super cup and 8 bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and Germany. Bastian is a bona fide superstar. He is an amazing player and deserves to play the CM role with Pogba. We would have a great midfield with these big two (Bastian and Pogba) with Schneiderlin backing them up. Bastian deserves more play time. Bastian says he wants to stay in the club despite the rash way Mourinho has been treating him. If Mourinho can change his way of thinking towards Bastian. I reiterate, Bastian is a world class player and has won many titles. We just need to give him a chance. The board also needs to question Mourinho on his coaching tactics because other players like Memphis Depay, Ashley Young and Morgan Schneiderlin deserve more playing time as well. They should not be left to ride the bench. We have enough talent we just need to share more playing time. More playing time would make the players happy. And there is nothing that brings success to a club more than happy players.
Well, that is
pretty much it for today. I’m pretty sure i have covered all the important news
that happened in Manchester United in the past month or two and do not think
i’ve missed anything except, Oh right! POGBA IS BACK AS A MANCHESTER UNITED
PLAYER!. Yes, finally, it’s the main
topic which most Manchester United fans, Players and Board Members has been
anxiously anticipating has arrived. The would he or would he not sign for
Manchester United has finally been answered. After months and speculations of
Real Madrid possibly hijacking the deal and taking this player away from
Manchester United for another possible four years or more away from Old
Trafford, the rumours were all laid to waist by Manchester United football club
when Jose Mourinho confirmed indirectly that Manchester United has indeed
signed back the french Midfielder after Manchester United had rashly released
the young, extremely talented, extremely gifted midfielder to Italian football
giants Juventus on the 3rd of July 2012 after Pogba was given just
five appearances for Manchester United, most of which Pogba was made to come of
the bench rather than given a chance to start for the team. As a young player, fans have to try and
understand the frustrations that comes when young players are denied the opportunity to showcase their
ability in a game playing for a club that you love and support. It’s frustrating
and sometimes denying players the chance to help the team win can affect
footballers, especially young footballers psychologically because not allowing
to express themselves and showcase their talents during live match will make
the players feel like they are not wanted by the club and with that unwanted
feeling comes depression and in other to find a solution for depression which is
a change of scenery, in other words, a move to other clubs. Personally, I think Manchester United is
quite lucky to have finalized the official return of Paul Pogba because after
a player has been threatened with such disrespect by a club which the player
adored and was lay everything on the line to help the club succeed, it’s hard
for the player to return to his old stomping ground. Especially considering how
successful Pogba was while he was playing for Juventus in Turin, Italy. I guess the fitting conclusion and moral to
this article is Football clubs of the modern era should learn to appreciate
the players they have right now and work with the players to grow together as a
club and achieve lots of success together in the future. The grass is not
always greener on the other side, rather the grass on your own backyard might
just need a little more, care, dedication and understanding in other to shine
bright and succeed in life.
In conclusion, with
the new additional, quality players added to the already good team at Old
Trafford, is it fair to say that Jose Mourinho is showing why he is one of the
best Managers in the world and expected to continue his successful managerial
career as Manchester United manager? I would definitely agree. All the manager
needs to do now is to answer the appeals for a quality center back who can take
the leadership role in the defence and Manchester United will be a team to be
reckoned with in all areas of the pitch.
