THE FORMATION THEORY
Manchester united is a team that has
been known the 4-4-2 formation or any formation with two strikers up front.
Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, Louis Saha and Wayne Rooney to name a few are just
some of the lethal partnership the Red devils have employed in the past and
the record has shown that the red devils can be very successful when the team
employs two strikers upfront.
One thing is for
sure, as the Red Devils prepare to face of against liverpool in this exciting
thriller, both teams will be making a few changes to each teams due to the
level of absentees to key players in both teams. Liverpool will be coming in
without the pace and skill of Mane. Mane has been a key factors in Liverpool's
victories this season so his absence might still be a factor in today’s match.
Of Course mane absence of mane might not still be that effective with the skill
and trickery of Philippe Coutinho still very lethal. Here’s an option the Red
Devils might choose to take today, 4-1-3-3 formation. That way liverpool is
forced to be more defensive minded due the pace and skills of Martial,
Mikitarian, Mata or Lingard and the pure power of Lukaku leading the attack.
Herrera and Matic will sitting and protecting the defence by limiting Coutinho
and Firmino influence. That way Manchester United's wing-backs might have a
little bit of freedom to run up and add a little extra fire power in United's
attack.
I don’t think a blowout win is in the cards for Manchester United today
but if the Red Devils play their cards right, they might be able to leave
anfield with a point or more in today's match. And! If Manchester United keep
racking up points after today, it might give the team extra boost to keep
putting on solid games for the rest of the season.
