The
football season is almost over for Manchester United and what a thrill ride the
season must have been for The Managers, the Coaching staff, the fans and
everyone associated with Manchester United. The season started of a little
slowly at the beginning, then The Red Devils ran into a few bumps and fell into
a few holes during the course of the season such as the Henrik Myhkitarian situation
and the situation concerning David DE Gea’s future at Manchester United. “Is
David going to stay or is he on his way to Spain? So much questions and so many
obstacles where thrown on the direction of Manchester United and just like in
most cases, Manchester United had moments of stumble and the stumble lead to a
few break downs in the unity and communication in the team. The results of this
was a little disastrous for the club, Manchester United were knock out of the
Champions league competitions in a tie that the England side were presumably
favoured to win. There were numerous rumours about possible disagreements not
just between players but also possible disagreements between players and
coaching staffs as well. The drama did not end there for the historic club from
red side of Manchester. On January 2018 Spanish giants Real Madrid came calling
for Manchester United’s number one shot stopper in a battle between Real Madrid
and Manchester United that kept the fans anxiously waiting to find out what the
Spanish goal keepers decision would be. In the end Dea Gea signed a new 60-million-pound
contract to keep him with Manchester United. Talk about commitment! De Gea has
been at the center of Manchester United’s top four finish for the past four
seasons at least and the Manchester United faithful crowd will hope Mourinho
can work his magic to keep Real Madrid from taking De Gea away from Old
Trafford as Manchester United holds their collective breaths and hope Mourinho
can perform his magic and sway Dea Gea from leaving The Red Devils before the
anticipated massive offer the Spanish giants prepare to launch in Manchester United’s
direction for David Dea’s signature this summer.
David Dea is about to enter his final season of his
current £60 Million contract set to last till 2019 with Manchester United
holding a one-year extension option in their pocket. Which means that
Manchester United fans can expect to see their loved number one shot stopper
playing his football at Old Trafford for at least one extra season but if there
is one thing Real Madrid is known it is that Real Madrid won’t go away until
Madrid has the man they want signed, sealed and delivered. MANCHESTERUNITEDPOST
will try to keep the fans updated should any changes occur with De Gea’s future
at Manchester United.

Time for the
third and main part of todays post which will centre around the upcoming matches
for Manchester United from now till the end of the season. The schedule for the
rest of the season has the look of a pretty easy feel for the club but when you
really look at the schedule and consider the type of form a few of Manchester United’s
next opponents have built for themselves in the last stretch of the current
Premier League season, you might start to wonder that maybe Manchester United
should not breath that sigh of relief to clinching second spot in the Premier
League just yet. United’s remaining games for the end of the season starts with
a visit from The Red Devils arch rivals from north London Arsenal whom are in desperate
need of points themselves in other a last valiant, mighty, run for the forth
place position in the Premier League table. Arsenal themselves have been making
the headline news in the world of sports after the recent dismissal of former,
long time serving, manager Arsene Wenger. Usually MANCHEESTERUNITEDPOST is a
website that stays loyal and dedicated to events happening in Old Trafford or
events that might happen in Old Trafford the circumstances are certainly
different in this case. Arsenal have appointed Manchester United recent
ex-manager Luis Van-Gaal to be the new man in charge at the end of the season
and in the long term future. Now while most Arsenal fans around the world
seemed to be excited by the recent change in management at their football club,
Manchester United fans have taken the direction of mocking Arsenal fans as well
as Arsenal football club in general all over social media. Naturally, the
logical reason anyone would think Manchester united are currently mocking
Arsenal fans would be because of the experience Manchester United had not too
long ago when Luis Vaan Gaal had been the Head Coach at Old Trafford.
Manchester United were reported to have had a miserable season during Van Gaal’s
time as Manchester United, He was strict, Van Gaal refused to play restricted
football rather than free flowing, conducive, attacking football. Free flowing
football, Skillful football, attacking football these have always been the
basic qualities that must be present in Manchester United’s style of football
and history has proven that any Manager in charge at Old Trafford that does not
implement these three basic qualities to his strategies tend to have a short
tenure as Manchester United Manager. While ManchesterUnitedPost.com suspect
Manchester United fans will continue their strategy of making a mockery of Arsenal
Football clubs current situation, the best situation will be to stay focused on
Manchester United’s big game against the fore mentioned Arsenal Football Club.
Sunday will be another game against Arsenal with Arsene
Wenger still in charge as the legendary French Manager endeavours to finish the
rest of the season with Arsenal before his eminent departure meaning that
Arsenals strategies heading into this Sundays clash at Old Trafford is unlikely
to experience much changes at all. Manchester United will probably look to
deploy the usual 4-3-3 with Matic as the holding midfielder but it will be
interesting to see who Mourinho pair up with Paul Pogba, as Pogba will without
question get the nod to starts Sundays match. Expectations are that once again
Alexis Sanchez will start against the club he left on January on the left hand
side while Marcus Rashord is favoured to start on the right while Romelu Lukaku
is destined to start as the lone striker on Sunday. Lukaku has been on a goalless
streak for the past three games at least and the big Belgium has been come
under criticism as not being able to perform in high fashion when big games
come around for the Red Devils so tomorrow’s game is another chance for the big
Belgium center forward to prove his critics wrong and what better place to put
up a match winning performance than Old Trafford.
Final lap of todays post is talking a little bit on the news about Mourinho and Pogba dispute which had been making headways less than two weeks ago. The news seems to have died and even better news for Manchester United fans is that the player-manager duo may have agreed to let bygones be bygones and maintains a steady professional relationship which is incredible news for Manchester United. But rumours continues to swirl on Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United. Personally as a United fan, i really want Pogba to stay at Manchester United. Pogba has a bright future as a player and as a leader at Manchester United and MANCHESTERUNITEDWEEKLY.com will observe to see what choice he takes concerning his future this summer but if Manchester United were to loose Paul Pogba once again in the summer, you would have to anticipate that the loss will have a massive, negative, effect on the club going forward in the terms of domestic and European championship aspiration. The task seems to be a handful but Mourinho needs to do whatever it takes to maintain a balanced team and keep his big money plans to be a handful but Mourinho needs to do whatever it takes to maintain a balanced team and keep his big money players happy if Manchester United will have any hope of retaining the current players whilst making any additions to the team this summer.https://manchesterunitedweekly.blogspot.ca/
