MANCHESTER UNITED TRANSFER TALK : FRED, DALOT IN ! ALDERWEIRELD TO FOLLOW !

Yes! Yes! Yes! this was said before on the ManchesterUnitedPost website but the quotes will be repeated just to emphasize how much enthusiastic everyone, from the Board members in charge at Old Trafford to the Manchester United fans are in regards to what Manchester United can accomplish in this summer's transfer window:  “The Transfer mill  rolls on and on and on. Bearly two weeks into and almost every news media is releasing on news after the other, every social media with a manchester related topic keeps releasing posts after posts trying to convince any interested viewer in the public that one of England's most popular football club is on the edge of completing  a move for yet another Star player into Old Trafford. The tabloids will never stop Printing and delivering because that is the news the fans want to see and delivering what the news the fans want to see increases the success rate of any news outlet. The fans will never stop searching for the news and consequently reading the news, clinking links to the news because the news feed satisfies each fans curiosity  of each clubs hunger for success in the future. Definitely a symbiotic relationship based on guesses, hope, few truths and the  regular deception.  Welcome to summer transfer window in the world of Football.”

Finally! we are finally in the juicy time of the summer transfer window and if you are reading this article your mind might have reacted to my choice of word and consequently any reader at this point might start to question if transfer window has indeed reached it’s busiest time? The truth is the football summer transfer window has not, in fact, reached it’s busiest or important period of the summer transfer window. No, the part of the summer transfer window which most football club tend to conduct their  summer transfer business is reserved primarily for the month of July to August. These are the two crucial months which most football clubs tend to look forward to because during the month of july most players have either concluded any international football competition the players country of origin is involved with or are on the verge of concluding said football competition creating opportunities for football clubs to talk to any player any club wants to sign. Now that the importance of the month of July in the summer transfer window has been cleared up, time to jump in to this weeks transfer activities for Manchester United. As already mentioned, Manchester United have done a good early job of improving their left back spot by signing young Diogo Dalot to assist Ashley Young and Luke Shaw in improving Manchester United's left back possition. Nineteen years old Dalot cost Manchester United £17.5 million from FC Porto and although little facts is known about the young man from Portugal, Dalots statistics suggest that Dalot is worth the 17.5 million Manchester United paid for him.

Fred, on the other hand, is one player that has proven throughout his career at Shakhtar Donetsk that he has the quality Manchester United will need in the midfield to be crowned Champions next season. Acquired with the price of 52 mill this summer, Fred might just be the second right man to bring extra creativity and life to Manchester United's Center Midfield with Paul Pogba being the obvious first choice. During his time at Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine, Fred featured in shaktars eight Uefa Champions League appearance, scored two goals, made one assist and averaged about % 7.25 rate on his overall performance. Fred rate about % 7 on his defensive duties and his abilities include delivering key passes, administers his defensive duties includes winning back ball possession for his team and breaking up the opponents attacking momentum. Fred also possesses the ability to deliver accurate shots from outside the penalty box. Although Fred might not be the tallest player on the field which makes winning headers a bit of a challenge but what Fred lacks in heights, he makes up for in strength and confidence. And even though there have been little rumours circle about how Fred might not be able to take some of the burden of creativity of Pogba’s shoulders but truth is that Fred can share the burden of creativity in Manchester United's midfield. Fred is without doubt a gifted player and with help of his new midfield team mates Matic, Pogba, Herrera and Mctominay, Fred has what it takes to succeed in Manchester United in the near future.

Here is the beauty about Manchester United's two new recruits, in addition to being incredibly gifted at what they do, Fred and Dalot are both still at the tender ages in their careers to make a positive impact impact in any club which they play for. Dalot who excels at the right back position will be tasked with assisting Manchester United's, star veteran, Antonio Valencia in making some of those powerful runs, delivering accurate crosses from the right side of the field. In addition to his attacking duties, Dalot will also need to fulfil some demands needed as a Manchester United right back such as break up the opponents attack, keep up with the pace of opponents in the Premier League. All tasks which Dalot himself has constantly proven during his young career in Portugal that he will be well equipped to handle.

As for center back news this summer, it seems that Manchester United looks determined to bring in Tottenham want away center back Toby Alderweireld this summer. Alderweireld has been consistently linked with a move to Manchester United ever since the end of last Premier League season when Alderweireld was offer an opportunity by Tottenham Hotspurs to renew his contract with Spurs but the Belgium turned the contract down and Alderweireld is now, officially, set for a departure from Wembley. Destination? Old Trafford. Mourinho has prepared 55 million dollar transfer fee for the Belgium but Totenham has refused to accept and are, instead, asking for more than 55 million from Manchester United. The rationale behind Tottenham's  demand for more funds for Alderweireld is because Tottenham plans to use as much capital generated from Alderweireld sale to strengthen their own squad even further for next season. Manchester United continue to be strongly interested in Alderweireld but Mourinho seems to have drawn the line 55 million for Alderweireld. With a good number of players open to moves this summer, Manchester United will have a couple of other options of Center Backs to sign should the move for Alderweireld fail to go through.

Lastly,  it’s time to other news on Old Trafford. Mourinho is rumoured to be working on bringing in another striker into Manchester United this summer with Antoine Griezmann arrival still floating around the air at Old Trafford. Griezmann was  expected to be making a big move from Spanish side Atletico Madrid to Manchester United about two seasons ago after reports grew that Griezmann was searching for Greener pastures away from Spain. Griezmann, as a result of loyalty for Atletico, decided to commit his future to Atletico Madrid for just a little longer when Atletico Madrid fell on difficult times courtesy of the Transfer Ban FIFA had handed Athletico a few seasons ago. Now that Athletico Madrid seems to have stabilized their ship, questions about Griezmann future seems to have resurfaced once again. Barcelona are currently the club favourite to sign the French man who will be on the top of the transfer list this summer but reports from Old Trafford suggest that Manchester United is not far behind Barcelona in the race to sign the French Man this summer.
