MANCHESTER UNITED WEEKEND NEWS : TRANSFER TALK

Finally! Manchester United is remodelling and strengthening the teams defence in Preparation to mount yet another serious challenge for the Premier League and UEFA Champions League trophies once again next season. Our favourite football club from the Red side of Manchester have finally made their first moves in this seasons Transfer window and although the moves are not the most glamorous moves that would excite the fans a lot, these player could be vital to Manchester United’s success next season.
The first to be mentioned is Diogo Dalot. The Left back soon to be purchase by Mourinho from FC Porto seems to be a good deal for Manchester United because what Dalot will bring to the club next season is that fresh, young, pace running up and down the left wing for Manchester United and creating more of an attacking treat for Manchester United next season so well done Jose Mourinho. 17.5 m was the price which Manchester United chief Executive had to pay for the young Portuguese international and the truth is that this particular news that arrived completely unnoticed from the writers here at the Manchester United post. The question is: does the arrival of Dalot signal that Luke Shaw might be on his way out of Manchester United. The fact is that Shaw’s performance has dropped drastically ever since that major injury which has had a major impact on Shaw’s Manchester United career, Mourinho might just be thinking along the lines of bringing in Dalot to take the pressure of Shaw in the future. But the interesting twist about Manchester United’s left back situation at the moment is that while Young edges ever closer to that age where top performance in regards to speed will eventually become a problem for the English man, especially in the modern day Premier League competition where pace is everything, people might start to see this deal for Dalot is a good move for Manchester United. Although Manchester United fans are expectedly excited with the arrival of the clubs new signings , Manchester United cannot be satisfied until the club secures the signing of one good center back and securing a center back is back on Mourinho agenda.

A familiar name Toby Alderweild has popped up once again on Manchester United transfer news feed. Yes Manchester United had shown serious interest in signing the Belgium all the way from North West London but Tottenham had been showing signs of hesitation towards the deal. However, according to Sky Sports, Tottenham has recently changed their course of action. The North London club is now willing to let go their long serving Center Back and Manchester United are currently the only club interested in buying Alderweild off the hands of Tottenham. Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levi, seems to have his hands tied down in regards to his failed attempts to convince Alderweild to remain at White Hart Lane and will be left with no choice but to sell the Belgium defender. Alderweild currently has one more season left in his contract with Tottenham and should Tottenham fail to sell Alderweild this summer, Tottenham will risk the eventuality of losing Alderweild for free at the end of next season. 75 million pounds is the demand set by Tottenham to let Alderweild go this summer but Manchester United chairman, Ed Woodward, is not ready pay such a ludicrous price for the player simply because of his age. At 29 years old, Alderweild future at Manchester United will be short lived because come two or three season after he is purchased from Tottenham, Manchester United will once again be out on the road in search of another young defender. So in reality, the deal for Alderwield should have been over and done with weeks ago except that Tottenham is just being a little bit greedy and unreasonable with their demands and it’s only a matter of time before Manchester United looses interest and sets their sights elsewhere.

Continuing with Manchester United’s Transfer Talk, Fred is one name that Manchester United fans seem to be growing accustomed to saying. Not too surprising of cause after the recent news that Manchester United is on the verge of securing the services of the young Brazilian midfielder from Shaktar donieskt of Ukraine. A bid estimated at around 52 million is what Mourinho has budgeted to take the Brazilian away from Ukraine and straight into Manchester UK. As the deal for Fred reaches the agreement point, one fact has come into lime light and the fact is that most of Manchester United fans in all honesty know little to nothing about Fred. For Manchester United fans, here is all you really need to know about the 25 year old Brazilian: He is quick, he has an 85.9% pass accuracy, he can tackle which anyone who has watched the English Premier League in the past two seasons will know any successful midfielder in the Premier League must know how to tackle and Fred has got that Tackling skill in his arsenal. Finally he can score; yes Fred does have an eye for goal. The question now that Fred is almost certin to be a Manchester United Player after the deal is expected to be finalized soon is Where will Fred play? Clearly Jose Mourinho is determined to operate with a three man Central Midfielders next season. With Fred excelling as both a central midfielder and as a flanking winger, the decision of where best Fred will excel will be down to Mourinho alone. The debate of whether or not Manchester United got the better transfer deal, after Opting to pull out of Fabinho chase and opting for Fred instead some Manchester United fans were concerned that Liverpool had gotten one up on Manchester United. But after studying Fred’s stats, seems like Manchester United might have gotten one up over Liverpool rather than the other way around.
