MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS: MARTIAL HEADING TO JUVENTUS & MORE

The relationship between a football clubs fan base and the Management in charge of said football club is an integral part of success of any football club. In Fact, the importance of a strong connection between the Management of a football club and the Fanbase of the same football club can be considered as borderline vital to the success of most football club. Take clubs such as Real Madrid of Spain and Paris ST Germain (PSG) of France for example. A few seasons ago, spanish side FC Barcelona were the kings of Spanish Football for a period of time. With their quick pace, stunning accurate passes and their seemingly unquenchable appetite for goal, Barcelona ripped through teams in LA LIGA and conquered Europe on multiple occasions. Realizing that they will not be able to topple Barcelona in their current state, Real Madrid fans raised their voice and forced the Board Members in control at the Bernabeu. Voice heard and que the influx of Major quality players for all parts of the field including, wait for it... DEFENCE! Yes, Real Madrid went on a shopping spree and bought players to improve all parts of the field which included Defence.

A combination of strong, confident, center back duo’s such as Maquinas and Thiago Silver for Paris ST Germain, Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos as well as so many other center back duo’s around europe give these football club around Europe the comfidence to play their quality football a little bit further up around the opponents penalty box having the full knowledge that if the opponent trigger a counter attack, the team's defence will be able to nullify the opponents attack due to the level of quality defenders teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris St Germain have on their locker room. Having high quality defenders in a team simply means the teams Midfielders can afford to be a little faster, a little more creative and a little more confident while on the attack having full certainty that should the midfielders lose possession, the defence will be able to remedy the situation by not conceding a goal to the opponents so easily.

But the problem is, when we return to talking about Manchester United, the question that should be thrown out for everyone involved with Manchester United foot club is : Are you confident that there is an undeniable, confident, leader in Manchester United's back line at the moment? With Mourinho making negotiations to  bring in his last possible signing before the transfer deadline on August, the one possible position that the Manchester United manager seems to have closed the chapter on as far as signings go is the Center Back position. Manchester United will be happy to hear the news that Mourinho looks to have no plans of signing any more center backs and will hope the manager will invest the remaining transfer budget on securing one last Midfielder before transfer deadline day. Manchester United fans have been making their voices heard all summer about the decent level of quality found in the team's midfield and have demanded improvement during their current summer transfer window. Though Manchester United's Elite Board Members have heard the cries of fans and answers with the signing of Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine and the retention of Paul Pogba, the fans still shows signs of dissatisfaction and the feeling around Old Trafford is that Manchester United might still need to sign one last midfielder before the summer transfer deadline.

The biggest news coming out of Manchester United in the past two weeks is that one of Manchester United's current player Marouane Fellaini has signed a new contract extension which will see the Belgium remain at Manchester United for the next two years with option of signing another one year extension at the end of 2020. The belgium midfielder had been holding out on signing the new two year contract worth £100.00.00 a week. Naturally the belgium midfielder took to social media to show his appreciation for his new deal but what was interesting was the level of negative response the Belgium midfielder has been receiving from fans on social media. Majority of Manchester United had not resisted the temptation of raising their opinions about Manchester United's tall belgium midfielder but unfortunately most of the fans opinions took on a more negative approach rather than a positive one towards Fellaini.

Manchester United fans have constantly made their oppinions about Fellaini heard through Social Media, Sports talk shows and message board that Marouane Fellaini is not the right sought of player Manchester United although still claiming that their negetive statement towards Fellaini is not coming from a personal stand point, but rather an analytical stand point. A portion of Manchester United fans believe that Fellaini’s style of play does not blend well with Manchester Uniteds ideology of fast paced and precision football and Fellaini should have been let go this summer to make way for much more improved midfielder. However, with Fellaini’s new contract, Mourinho is currently left with room to add one more player in his roaster this summer. After Marouane Fellaini’s new contract signing, Manchester United will be left with Roughly 89 million to spend this summer. 89 million can still get Manchester United a decent player in todays transfer market but the problem is that witten the walls of Old Trafford, decent is not a word that sits well at Manchester Unted.

Lastly, time to move from Manchester United abilty of retaining a player who divides opinions, to jump straight into talking about a player who also has been dividing attention at Manchester United. This is referring to the possible depature of Manchester Uniteds second favourate french midfielder Anthony Martial. The manchester United french wingeer has been under constant speculation of deparrting Manchester United for other various clubs in Europe ever since Manager Jose Morinho decides to make Anthony Martial his third choice winger behind Jessie Lingard and, the then newly arrived, Alexis Sanchez. For the past two seasons Anthony Martial has been forced to making substitute appearences from the bench and has been constantly subdued into relinquinshing his place in Manchester United starting IX to last seasons new arrival Alexis Sanchez. Martial has attempted to win over club manager Mourinho by resisting the urge to leave Manchester United and instead chose to stay, improve his football and fight for his place in the Manchester United. However, Martial seems to have embraced the idea that his Manchester United career might be over as the players agent admits that the french winger is now open to offers away from Old Traffords. Anthony Martial agent Philippe Lamboley admited recently that Martials Manchester United career might be coming to a close this summer

"After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United," Lamboley told RMC Sport. "There are many scenarios. For now, it's premature to talk about it. Anthony will speak later to explain all of this.
"Manchester United want to extend Anthony's contract and do not want him to leave, but we have not been able to find an agreement for several months.
"I think that when Manchester United, which is the most powerful club in the world it must be remembered, do not find an agreement in eight months of negotiations, it is because they do not really want to make him an important member of the team. That's the root of this decision. It is a well-considered decision.
 ( Philippe Lamboley, SkySports.com. 14/06/18 )

The reality is that, as much as Manchester United will not feel comfortable admiting the truth, Martial is a world class talent whom deserves more minutes on the field than Manchester United are currently giving him. Mourinho, to put in metaphorical had a Ferreri given to him by Manchester United football club parked on the side on the road but simply never bothered to drive the car. Now, due to negligence, Manchester United stand a chance of permantly loosing the Ferrari for good. Lamboley is currently battling Mancheester United over Anthony Martials future, which simply surrounds the conclusion, if Martial is to have a future in Old Trafford Martial has to start more games than he is currently afforded at southwest Manchester. Bayern Munich is one club that has not kept their thoughts to themselves as the German giants are engineering a move to sign martial before the end of  the summer. Bayern are commited to finding replacements for their two ageing superstars Frank Ribbery and Arjen Robben whom are nearing the end of their career and Anthony Martial has been sighted as one of two stars who will fill Bayerns, soon to be vacant, wing possition. No offers has been made yet but clubs such as Bayern Munich, Paris St German and Totenham are set to match Manchester Uniteds £58 million price for signing the French Man and might be willing to raise the price just for the french man’s signature this summer. Manchester United owners and Jose Mourinho are still hessitant of letting go of Martial and are showing signs of williness to keep Anthony Martial at Old Trafford but the truth is that todays transfers window where football club are willing to pay through their teeth to aquire players with Martials talents favours the french man immensly. Unless Mourinho is willing to bend to Philip Lamboleys terms of more play time for his client next season and in the future, Martial, unfortunately, might be a free man walking out of Old Trafford by the end of this summer transfer window.
