MANCHESTER UNITED TALK. THREE POINTS AGAINST BRIGHTON AT OLD TRAFFORD IS MANCHESTER UNITED'S POINTS TO THROW AWAY

Old Trafford is the venue today for yet another thrilling weekend packed with what the fans will hope to be another weekend packed with lots of exciting football played by the new look Manchester United.

Yes, the chase for one Kalidou Koulibaly as well as the chase for one more signing Manchester United appears to be one more move Manchester United is anxious to make if not this January then July 2019 continues to grow ever more serious for Manchester United. Manchester United have finally awoken from the clubs long slumber away from seriously competing from a Trophy and look determined to erase mediocrity from the clubs name by strengthening themselves once again this 2019 summer with one or two names to come in this 2019 summer and complete an already impressive Manchester United team.

Talking about Manchester United’s plans for the transfer window is always a delight. Which player is leaving Manchester United? which new player might be dawning the famous red jersey of Manchester United at the end of each Transfer Window? Talking about the transfer window is always delightful and as usual, the transfer talks will continue every Wednesday in the month of January, June, July and ends the middle of August here on MANCHESTERUNITEDPOST. This weekend, however, is all about the highly entertaining Premier League match as Caretaker manager  Ole Gunnar Solskijier welcomes a less hectic opponent in Brighton Hope Albion and compared to last weekends battle to the much improved Tottenham side, Brighton at Old Trafford should be an easy three points for Manchester United tonight. Right?

Shifting over to Old Trafford visitors this upcoming weekend, Chris Hutton's Brighton Hope Albion side has definitely been surpassing all expectation put on the Seagulls ever since their return to English Premier League during the 2016- 2017 season. Brighton were amongst the list of clubs voted as favorites to drop back down to the English League Championship during the 2017-2018 season with the club just hovering above the drop zone but Chris Hutton's side managed to retain their Premier League status with the help of some inspiring fight back football, some individual brilliant football displayed occasionally by players such as  Pascal Grobe, Anthony Knockaert, and  Glen Murray has been in the heart of everything plan Chris Hutton has devised for the Seagulls so far.

The effective trio will be ready to take the fight Manchester United this Saturday at Old Trafford. This might seem improbable but Brighton is a team searching for every point the seagulls can get their hands on knowing how crucial a part every point can play during the end of the season. Coming into this weekends match, Ole Gunner Solskijier cannot afford to lead the Manchester United team out into Old Trafford taking this Brighton team for granted.

Brighton is a very diligent, well set up team that will not mind seating back defending and then hitting Manchester United on the counter-attack every opportunity that falls the way of Chris Hutton's side this side this Saturday. However, the anticipation is that Manchester United should have enough power in their locker to match any threat Chris Hutton's side may pose in terms of speed and intensity. With Manchester United's big influential players such as Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford etc all seemingly recapturing fine forms recently, difficult to see how Brighton can match and render Manchester United's quality dormant come this Saturday weekend.

The fact that Manchester United will clearly hold the clear advantage in term of quality players must be a clear redundant fact by now. When a club have multiple game-changing players such as Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata..., the list goes on but the point is, when a big club such as Manchester United who has all these superstar players healthy, prepared and eager to come into any match and make a positive impact, the task of proving Manchester United lacks superior advantage against other clubs becomes increasingly difficult.

As if the positive vibe covering Manchester United recently was not enough, caretaker manager Ole Gunner Solskijier has probably increased the positive intensity through his message delivered on his press conference regarding the fitness and the positive mental state of the entire Manchester United team. Prior to kick off to last weeks crunch match against Tottenham, manager Ole Gunner Solskijer took center stage at the conference table and reassured the public that besides the absence of Argentine international Marcos Rojo who took a leave of absence to Argentine center back to recover physically. Besides the absence of Marcos Rojo Manchester United will be heading into this weekends match with a very strong squad. Good news for Manchester United, yet highly rare situation for Manchester United at the same time.

Now returning to the corner of Manchester United's weekend opponents, Brighton holds a few cards up their sleeves which can provide Chris Hutton's side the opportunity to steal a point from Old Trafford this weekend. A smash and grab type of situation where the lower teams scores a goal from set piece perhaps and then decides to enforce an all-out defensive tactic for the rest of the match. Worked before against Manchester United. In fact, Brighton manager Chris Hutton willfully chose to enforce a counter-attacking system against Manchester United at the start of the current 2018/19 Premier League campaign and successfully secured three points against the Red Devils.

Manchester United must make sure to be alert and take nothing for granted against the seagulls tonight. Three points are of the upmost importance for the Red Devils tonight.
