MANCHESTER UNITED BOARD SIGNAL GREEN LIGHT ON TRANSFER WINDOW PROJECT

April is usually regarded as still an early period in the year for any transfer window as clubs sitting at top 5 positions continue to battle for supremacy or a place in one of the top 4 spots of the Premier League table.

Simultaneously taking place as well is the battle for survival happening at the premier league relegation zone as clubs sitting the last five spots continue to jostle for positions in a desperate attempt to avoid relegation come end of the season. The battle for better positions in the Premier League table is expected to run its course parallel to each other until the end of the season. Therefore, while Premier League fans have enjoyed the exciting, intensifying, ride this season has produced, fair to say that as we edge closer to the month of May the excitement is bound to deliver a cracking finish.

As we sit at the edge of our seats enjoying the thrill of the season, Manchester United appear to have already gotten a head start in their transfer window business. Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer was rumored to have handed in the names of his summer transfer target as early as during the month of February and the Manchester United board of director were rumored to have responded positively by providing the new Manchester United manager with a massive 200 million pounds budget for Ole Gunner Solskjaer to make use of during his quest to further improve Manchester United during the course of the summer transfer window. The budget is set but the question is which players going to be signed by Solskjaer this summer? The biggest concern with  Manchester United during the course of summer 2019 might not be who is coming in but more a question of how fast can the club get the necessary transmission from players leaving the club to players coming into the club and will Manchester United be able to sign the right sufficient number of players in the space of roughly four months?

Manchester United had already started the team improvement project in regards to the transfer window business with ex-club captain Antonio Valencia already departed from Manchester United on his way to signing for one of the clubs in Major League Soccer competition. Some sources also continue to suggest that Antonio Valencia might still find himself playing in the Premier League next season as Premier League participant Arsenal and West Ham remain possible suitors open to acquiring Antonio Valencia’s services next season. Whatever the case might be, the fact still remains that Antonio Valencia’s future is now certain to be away from Old Trafford as per the confirmation delivered by the Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer last Friday from his press conference prior to the match against West Ham last weekend. Solskjaer was asked about the clubs plans regarding Manchester United’s current inability to stabilize the captaincy role and what exactly Manchester United’s plans were as per appointing a permanent captain moving forward to which Ole Gunner Solskjaer replied :

“We’ll see who is here next season and I’ve got a couple of players in my head that could be captain. We’ve had Antonio Valencia, he’s going, we’ve had Ashley (Young), we’ve had Paul (Pogba), we’ve had David (De Gea), Chris (Smalling) has been captain, so there are players here who can be captain on the pitch. We just need to decide who is going to be club captain. Who’s going to be the voice in and around (the place).”

A good number of Manchester United supporters will be filled with optimizing regarding the departure of Antonio Valencia after a significant number of fan opinions had risen to demand that Manchester United reduce of veteran player residing at Manchester United in favor of concentrating more on youth quality moving forward. The demand for the reduction of Manchester United players aged 30 and above grew strong after the Manchester United fans witnessed their beloved Manchester United football club struggle to keep up with the pace and quality of the Premier League under Jose Mourinho. Manchester United’s struggles last season came about primarily because under Jose Mourinho Manchester United lacked the speed from their full backs and center midfielders needed to open the field and stretch the opponents' defense.

Manchester United fans will look forward to seeing a stronger Manchester United team playing much-improved football and winning trophies next season and according to the Manchester United fans, the best way for Manchester United to achieve success will be to cut ties with the club current sets of players age 30 and above focusing more on investing in the promotion of young talent in the near future.

The biggest transfer talk around Manchester United seems to be circling around the now imminent departure of Ander Herrera from Manchester United too strong potential summer suitors Paris St German this summer. The clear unresolved situation between Manchester United and Ander Herrera seems to be circulated around the possible idea that Ander Herrera is simply unsatisfied with his current earning at Manchester United and the Spanish midfielder feels like he deserves more than he is currently making in Manchester United. Manchester United have been confirmed to offer the Spanish midfield the large sum of 200,00 a week to top up Ander Herrera’s current 100,000 pounds a week contract and yet sources say that Ander Herrera is still hesitant on extending his contract with Manchester United beyond the 2019 summer.

Should Manchester United fail to retain the services of Ander Herrera for next season, Ole Gunner Solskjaer might be forced to make one or two massively significant summer transfer signings of two skillful midfielders who can improve Manchester United’s quality on the field. Koulibaly continues to be the most likely new summer inductee to sign for Manchester United as SS Napoli has reportedly set the asking price for the release of their Senegalese center back at 90 million pounds. Should Manchester United attempt to sign Koulibaly once again, the attempt will be one of the numerous attempts by Manchester United but at an affordable 90 million, Manchester United will be optimistic of finally landing their longtime center back target this summer.
