MANCHESTER UNITED TO INVEST IN PLAYERS THAT WILL IMPROVE THE OUTCOMES OF THE CLUBS NEAR FUTURE AS WELL AS MANCHESTER UNITEDS DISTANT FUTURE

How will Manchester United fans react to the clubs decision of signing a 19-year-old wonder kid and then having to wait a few years before the talented youngster before the young player can actually play in the senior level? Judging from the reaction to Manchester United's current struggle to make their way into one the top four spots in the Premier league table, the response to the clubs interest in signing a young talent will probably be between good and bad.
Manchester United is clearly a club in desperate search of a solution to the clubs current dilemma of being known as a club unable to live up to its full potential that it becomes so easy for Manchester United to so easily allow themselves to get sucked into the trap of diving straight into completing any Transfer target with considering the implications such Transfer activity might have on the club. While the idea of Manchester United's owners eagerness to rapidly return the club to winning ways is very admirable, Ole Gunner Solskjaer and Manchester United board of directors might want to consider the other aspect of making deal, especially in the case of making a deal regarding such young talent new to English football: what if the player fails to live up to the high expectation set in Manchester United?
Uncertainty towards a possible outcome in Manchester United's future plans seems to be the case when it comes to Manchester United's new interest in Portuguese side Benfica's young talent Joao Felix. The 19-year-old Portuguese winger has been the talk of the town in Lisbon due to the level of quality the young Portuguese has displayed for his parent club Benfica this past season. In his first few seasons with Benfica during the year of 2016 down to the year 2018, Joao Felix had a bit of a decent start to his senior career with Benfica scoring an average total of 7 goals in 13 games for his club. Granted some might consider Joao Felix statistics during his first season with Benfica, not the most impressive statistics especially for a player tagged with a massive 100 million.

However, if we were to gradually analyze Joao Felix performance since his first season with Benfica to his current 2018-2019 season, there is a clear massive leap forward in the players' progression rate.
13 goals in 22 appearances might not strike some Manchester United supporters and some of today's sports analyst but considering the important detail that while Joao Felix is still such a young talent his potential to grow and develop into an even better player might make Joao Felix a player worth investing 100 million into. However, comparing Manchester United's need for more quality players in the squad, 100 million might be a sensible investment if the return will mean Joao lives up to the expectation for Manchester United return to Europe or aid Manchester United to recapture the Premier League Trophy.            According to recent sources, Manchester United might have more to worry about than convincing the Benfica attacker to part ways with his current Portuguese club and join Manchester United as sources suggest that other English clubs such as the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool to join the race to sign the talented young Joao Felix this season. Manchester United might view Manchester City and Liverpool's sudden interest in a player Manchester United had their eye on for a while as a subtle statement by Manchester City and Liverpool to make sure that Manchester United fail to acquire the right amount of improved players to apply enough booster that will render the Manchester United squad capable of mounting a trophy challenge against Manchester City and Liverpool during next seasons premier league campaign.

At the moment, Manchester City seems to leapt over Manchester United to steal the lead in the race to sign the youngster from Benfica before the start of next season. Manchester United will be desperate to avoid yet another young talent heading in the direction of their rivals having already missed out at the hands of their English rivals on signing players such as Raphael Varane, Renato Sanchez and of cause Neymar, players whom have all gone on to help their parent club lift a couple of trophy with each of their talents leaving Manchester United regretting their decision of not signing each player when the opportunity to sign each player was presented to Manchester United FC in the first place.

Joao Felix is considered to be a remarkable player who can make a serious impact in any match with the level of quality the player possesses in his arsenal. Game changers are serious diminishing in the current Manchester United squad and having a talented player such as Joao Felix partnering up with the likes of Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba in the heart of Manchester United's attack might be exactly some of the boost Manchester United need to challenge Manchester City, Liverpool and other European heavyweights at the top of the pile.

Right now, Portuguese side Benfica appears unsettled with the prospect of losing such a young prospect like Joao Felix in the upcoming 2019 summer transfer window and the club is expected to attempt to retain the services of the Joao Felix at the end of the transfer window. However, should Benfica decide to sell, Manchester United is expected to hold the lead as the number one club favorite to acquire the services of the Portuguese forward next season.
