MANCHESTER UNITED SUMMER PLANS CONTINUE TO UNRAVEL

The situation with Manchester United's transfer window continues to grow increasingly complicated as the summer goes on. Manchester United in recent years has consistently struggled in securing their transfer targets in the transfer window because the understanding on how the clubs transfer window operates is that the club continues to attempt to reduce the expenses coming from the club this transfer window. However, the clubs transfer policy and financial commitment appear to have improved on a positive manner as Manchester United have certainly shown their desire to improve their club this summer by investing a massive 200 million for the 2019 summer transfer during the end of last season.

Manchester United at the moment is seemingly operating in a difficult area are planning on bringing in new players in the summer. However, in order to secure the clubs transfer targets coming in, Manchester United plans on releasing a number of players currently on the roster to accommodate new players scheduled to be signed by the Red Devils during the course of the 2019 summer transfer window. However, during the early stages of the transfer window, Manchester United are understood to be struggling with executing their transfer plans because of the unwillingness the club has with letting go of some players this summer. The biggest news in the 2019 transfer so far for Manchester United stands at the Red Devils issuing a new contract for one of the clubs longest serving players Juan Mata. Mata who has been a player at Manchester United since the year 2014 and a player who had been out of contract at the end of 2019 season had been a person of interest in terms of the clubs decision on letting the Spanish midfielder go this summer or keeping the Spanish playmaker on as part of the clubs plans for the future. After months of deliberation, Manchester United have decided to resign Juan Mata on a new two-year deal worth at least £20 million making Mata one of the longest-serving players Manchester United currently has in their roaster.

While the news of Spanish midfielder Juan Mata resigning with Manchester United for an extra two years is definitely a piece of positive news, the Manchester United community appear to be anticipating even bigger news heading in the clubs direction in the summer of 2019. With Manchester United already spent close to 40 million out of the current allocated 200 million summer transfer budget, the Red Devils are expected to have more new players walking in through the door at Old Trafford and the mathematics around the clubs current allocated summer budget indicates a total of three more players yet to be signed by Manchester United this 2019 summer transfer window. With a number of quality players current based outside the United Kingdom currently searching for different English Premier League based clubs to sign for lead by players desires to make their way into the Premier League, Manchester United will have a number of options left on their plate in terms of which quality players to sign this summer.

While Manchester United do not appear to be in any rush to complete their summer signings so far this early in the month of June, Manchester United appear to make continuous progress in terms of contacting clubs for players Manchester United are interested in bringing in this summer. On the plus side, two players continue to hold a high possibility of becoming Manchester United players before the end of the 2019 summer transfer window Aaron Wanbasaka of Crystal Palace and Lyon striker Moussa Dembele. The duo has been subjects of interest for Manchester United since the early months of April as Ole Gunner Solskjaer aims to reinforce his frontline and backline in preparation to mount a much tougher challenge for a place in one of the top four spots in the Premier League. Manchester United appear to have spotted the weaknesses present in their own defense and offense which was a major contributor to the clubs failure to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League trophy last season. The Red Devils found themselves lacking the high level of attacking quality and high level of defensive quality needed to succeed in modern day football in Europe.

Should manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer successfully secure the services of both Aaron Wanbasaka from Crystal Palace and Moussa Dembele from Olympique Lyon or should Manchester United complete the signing of one of the above mentioned players with Bruno Fernandes as the final puzzle piece, Manchester United will have not only made significant improvements on areas which the Manchester United team were found lacking last season but Ole Gunner Solskjaer will ultimately have pushed Manchester United's quality on the pitch that much closer to other clubs such as Manchester City and Liverpool next season. At the moment, the chase for trio Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon, Aaron Wanbasaka of Crystal Palace and Moussa Dembele of Olympique Lyon, appear to be at the top of Manchester United's main agenda in the summer of 2019.

At this point in the summer period, in regards to the transfer talks connecting Manchester United with Crystal Palace Aaron Wanbasaka or Lyon striker Moussa Dembele currently stands at an indefinite area as both Olympique Lyon and Crystal Palace analyze of moving forward next season should either club decide to sell to Manchester United before the conclusion of the Summer transfer window by August 2019.
