MANCHESTER UNITED SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW PLANS IN JEOPARDY

The news surrounding Manchester United during the Transfer Window always seems to be over-bloated as soon the transfer window comes around.

Different websites reporting different news with such attractive headlines that it is quite difficult to tell which headlines are true and with such situations being present, it becomes difficult for the public, especially for Manchester United fans, to get lost in fake stories with exciting headlines reported by some Journalist. Here are some news surrounding Manchester United football club which might affect the 2019 summer transfer activities for Manchester United. According to reliable sources, Manchester United's interest in signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is strongly expected to crumble even before the 2019 summer transfer window truly kicks off in the month of June 2019.

The Argentine forward has recently reinstated his desire to remain a Juventus player after the 2019 summer transfer comes to a close and the players' decision has unfortunately forced Manchester United to set their sights somewhere else in search of attacking reinforcements in preparation for the 2019/20 football season. The news of Pauolo Dybala’s decision to remain a Juventus player in the distant future dropped on Friday, May 24 when the Argentine forward issued a statement regarding his future in Juventus.

The bad news does not end there for Manchester United. The sensational wonder teenager in the world of football today, Matthijs De Ligt now appears to be completely beyond the reach of Manchester United this summer. According to various sources, the Dutch defender is reported to have a strong desire to play for Barcelona rather than Manchester United next season. The Dutch defender had responded to the rumor of his premeditated move away from his current club Ajax by stating his satisfaction at his current club Ajax and at this point in his career De Ligt has no intention of moving away from his Dutch club Ajax anytime soon.

Despite words from the Matthijs De Lit himself indirectly confirming his desire to remain an Ajax player in the near future, the concerns and the conversations circulating around the Dutch defenders' exit from Dutch side Ajax as various clubs continue to be entangled in the fight for the Dutch defenders' services. Barcelona, Manchester United, even Liverpool are now in a serious marathon to acquire Matthijs De Lits signature by the end of the 2019 summer transfer window. With most of the interested English clubs such as Manchester City and Liverpool able to offer the player consistent opportunities to play Champions League Football in the future, the Champions League factor ultimately rules out Manchester United as favorites to sign Mathijs De Lit in the upcoming 2019 summer transfer window.

Realistically, Manchester United's transfer plans for the 2019 summer window, is, unfortunately, facing turbulent periods in terms of attracting and securing the signatures of top-class players. Moussa Dembele, the Celtic forward who continues to be a strong summer target for Manchester United appears to have made a decision regarding his future. The French striker and Celtic forward appear to have chosen to head in the direction of committing his future to the Celts from Glasgow for the next foreseeable future. Manchester United, during the early periods of April and May 2019 were in an optimistic state in terms of securing the signature of the French striker during the players' loan period at Lyon last season. However, after the impressive display shown by Moussa Dembele during his time at Lyon, Moussa Dembele and Celtic FC are expected to be ready to maintain the status quo which involves the French forward retaining his position as a Celtic forward moving forward into the future.

Analyzing Manchester United's outcome so far in the early offseason, Ole Gunner Solskjaer and his official scout officers appear to be experiencing difficulty in attracting top-class names to join Manchester United this summer because of the simple truth that Manchester United will be unable to offer Champions League football next season. Paulo Dybala, through his agent, appear to keep repeating the same idea that the Argentine aims to remain in Turin, Juventus, looking towards the distant future. Juventus as a football club are expected to pull all possible strings to keep their star in Turin moving forward, especially at this current moment when one of Juventus major summer target Paul Pogba, who happens to be a current Manchester United top star, is now expected to remain a Manchester United player after the 2019 summer transfer window closes due to the ban enforced on Paul Pogba’s top agent Mino Riola, Pogba with little options might eventually be forced to sign a new contract Manchester United keeping Paul Pogba at Manchester United for the foreseeable future.

Therefore, if the ban on Mino Riola is upheld, the positive aspect for Manchester United will be that Manchester United get to keep Paul Pogba at the end of the 2019 summer transfer window. However, the negative impact Mino Riolas ban will have on Manchester United will be, because most top players in Europe are agent Mino Riola’s agent, Manchester United will have lost the opportunity to sign a lot of the top class surfacing around Europe at this point in time. Paul Pogba is now prepared to remain in Manchester United past the duration of the 2019 summer transfer window is the positive part of the summer but the negative part the summer, unfortunately, points to Manchester United failing to sign any big names under Mino Riola.
