MANCHESTER UNITED'S CONTINUOUS DILEMMA WITH PAUL POGBA & THE MEDIA ROLLS ON

Paul Pogba has agreed to a move back to Juventus this summer is purely an unspecified rumor being floated around by the media.

Pogba’s future in Manchester United had been in doubt ever since the French midfielder suffered a miserable season under Ex-Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho last season, prompting the French midfielder to attempt to put together an option of exit away from Manchester United last season. However, towards the middle of last season under the new leadership of Ole Gunner Solskjaer, Paul Pogba appear to have rediscovered his love for Manchester United with the Red Devils even boosting the French man into a secondary leadership role that is set to increase to a primary one under Ole Solskjaer next season.

Despite all the positive signs indicative of a strong relationship between Manchester United and Paul Pogba, various aspects of the media continue to insist on the idea of Paul Pogba’s departure away from Manchester United during the 2019 summer window. During the midway point of the season that came before last seasons campaign, the French midfielder witnessed a massive volume of attention thrown in his direction as a result of Paul Pogba’s contract with Manchester United coming to an end. The expectation back then, as is quite similar to the current case was that Paul Pogba would be walking away from Manchester United to join fellow countryman Zinedine Zidan in Spanish side Real Madrid. However, after months of deliberation and negotiations between Manchester United and Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Riola, an agreement was reached between all parties involved which saw Paul Pogba remains a Manchester United player and further saw Paul Pogba sign a contract extension worth 100 million sets to last until the year 2021 with an option of adding an extra year come 2021.

With such a massive assurance created to protect Manchester United football club from losing such a valued player in the club, the expectation heading into the 2019 summer transfer window should be centered around which players will be added into Manchester United to help the club improve into the Championship winning caliber team Manchester United is known to be. Instead, the discussion around the French midfielder continues to insist on Paul Pogbas eventual departure from Manchester United certainly taking place in the summer of 2020. According to a local website known by the name TalkSports, Paul Pogba has already ironed out a deal to move back to his former club Juventus by the end of the 2019 summer transfer window.

However, upon further investigation, the story continues to show signs of unreliability. Paul Pogba is currently under contract with Manchester United, a contract with a duration set to last until the year 2021 and a contract which future hands Manchester United further option of extending the contract for an extra year which will see Paul Pogba staying at Manchester United until the year 2022. This means that should another club want Paul Pogba this summer, the clubs only option will be to pay the players to release clause worth around 105 million pounds.

At the moment, Spanish club Real Madrid appears to be the most authentic club able to afford a transfer fee worth such an exuberant amount as 150 million release fee for Paul Pogba which will ensure the French midfielder makes a move from Manchester to Madrid. Real Madrid current manager Zinedine Zidan continues to be a major admirer of Paul Pogbas style of football and the Real Madrid manager appears to want nothing more than to make the dream of having Paul Pogba in his Real Madrid midfield a reality this coming 2019/20 season. Real Madrid already saw their original bid for Paul Pogba rebuffed during this past January transfer window, Manchester United identified Paul Pogba as a major part of Manchester United's rebuilding process during the early post Jose Mourinho era with Manchester United choosing to part ways with Jose Mourinho and sticking with Paul Pogba while the clubs search for further building block to rebuild the fortress called Manchester United.

Real Madrid might be extremely persistent in their pursuit for the current French ace midfielder, however, with Manchester United showing signs of rejuvenation under Ole Gunner Solskjaer and the rejuvenation expected to continue next season at Manchester United with Paul Pogba in the center, Manchester United appear ready to battle Real Madrid to retain the services of Paul Pogba during the 2019 summer transfer window.

The news coming from England and Europe states that while Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward continues with his battle to ensure Manchester United's transfer targets are met during the 2019 summer transfer window by providing the financial needs necessary to make sure Manchester United's summer plans are put into action and accomplished before the start of next season. Paul Pogbas agent is reportedly talking to other clubs around Europe as a contingency plan in the off chance Manchester United agree to part ways during the 2019 summer transfer window.

However, Manchester United's current plan stands at holding on to Paul Pogba all through the 2019 summer transfer window and adding players such as Aaron Wanbusaka from English side Crystal Palace for 50 million during the 2019 summer transfer window might not be enough to convince a quality player such as Paul Pogba must be to bring in two or three more quality players to take the pressure off the clubs few main players.
