MANCHESTER UNITED SET TO REVISIT THEIR REMAINING TRANSFER WINDOW TARGETS

The reported interest from Manchester United on Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff continues to grow ever so stronger as the 23-year-old English Midfielders recovery from the injury continue to improve in the summer of 2019. Manchester United was first reportedly linked with a move for the Newcastle midfielder back at the start of May 2019 when reports of Ole Gunner Solskjaers plan to revitalize Manchester United by bringing in younger players during the course of the 2019 summer transfer window.

So far the Manchester United manager of his promise to make some changes by signing former Swansea City winger Daniel James age 21 for a transfer fee of 18 million Euros which made the Welsh winger the first official of Ole Gunner Solskjaer as the new Manchester United manager. Solskjaer followed up his successful acquisition of the young welsh winger Daniel James by quickly wrapping up the successful signing of yet another young 21-year-old English fullback in Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The English full-back completed his long-awaited move to Manchester United at the start of the month of July fee worth 50 million including add-ons which sealed the deal between Manchester United and Premier League side Crystal Palace making Wan Bissaka an official Manchester United player.

While the successful signings done by Manchester United so far this summer will undoubtedly play positive parts in Manchester United's chase for trophies next season, the Red Devils are reported to still be on the chase for a couple more signings before the conclusion of this summers transfer window. Manchester United witnessed big-name English teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea secure Trophies and top four positions in last season premier League table show just how profitable investing large capital in the transfer window can be. Manchester United have been listed as one of the clubs expected to make a serious run for both the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League trophy next season after failing to secure one of either trophy in the past six years at least

Despite Manchester United having made signings of notable big-name players such as Di Maria, Bastian Schweinsteiger and the current two most valuable player in within the Manchester United squad David De Gea and Paul Pogba, Manchester United continue to meet numerous adversities which Manchester United continue to have difficulty coming up solutions for such adversities. The new challenge which the club is currently faced with appears to be finding the right players to sign this summer. So far, manchester united have witnessed business negotiations for players whom the club is interested in signing either fall apart or stall for a prolonged period of time prompting Manchester United to look another direction for answers.

On a more positive front, Manchester United have reported put pen to paper to the signing of young Manchester United academy graduate Axel Tuanze. The 21year-old returned to Manchester United at the end of last season after his season-long loan English Championship side Aston Villa. The news helps to further support the idea that Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaers intentions of rebuilding the Manchester United team of the future around young, growing talents. Solskijear has been so adamant about his intentions on centering Manchester United's future style of operation around young players that the manager appears to be willing to overlook any possibility of signing any player over the age of 19 this summer. With that being said, Manchester United continue to be linked a few extra big-name players as we enter the main stages of the summer transfer window in the month of July

The most recent talks cover the possibility of Manchester United reopening talks with Italian side SS Lazio for the service of Serbian Midfielder Milinkovic Savic. Manchester United was listed as the number one destination for the Serbian to land during the 2017 summer transfer window. However, at the time, the results of the rumour revealed Manchester United were unwilling to pay the price for the Serbian midfielder because the price was believed to be too exorbitant for Manchester United to handle and the second reason is that with the presence of players such as Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and a few other names present in the Manchester United squad at the time, Manchester United felt that there was no need to add one more quality player to a midfield already jam-packed with a number of players .

The situation between Manchester United and SS Lazio for the acquisition of Milinkovic Savic appears to have resurfaced once again during the current 2019 Summer window. Manchester United was close to sealing a deal for the Serbian midfielder back in the summer of 2018 when Jose Mourinho was still the head manager at Manchester United. However, an agreement between Manchester United and SS Lazio could not be reached resulting in Milinkovic Savic remaining with the Italian club SS Lazio. The situation seems to have taken a different turn this time around with Manchester United prepared to offer Lazio a fee worth £67 million for the Serbian this summer. Manchester United failed to seal the deal for the Serbian hitman back in 2018 and the current situation still provides uncertainty as to Manchester United actually sealing the deal for the Serbian this summer.

However, with Manchester United currently in serious need for a quality midfielder to support Paul Pogba in the midfield next season, the Red Devils will be highly motivated to finalize a deal with Lazio if the deal sees a quality player such as Milinkovic Savic moving to Old Trafford in the summer of 2019.
