MANCHESTER UNITED'S BATTLE FOR BRUNO FERNANDES REACHING ITS CONCLUSION

The long-awaited deal that seemed to have no further possibility ever coming to an end might actually, well, be coming to an end. What a befitting way for the negotiation of such a quality player to finally come to a possible end towards the end of July.

Manchester United have been involved in a long tiring battle to secure the signing of this player. With other clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester City both joining the battle to sign the player during the early months of May and June, Manchester United were expected to drop out of the race to sign such a prolific player especially considering the fact that Manchester United will not be able to offer UEFA Champions League football next season.  the player in question is non-other than Portuguese center midfielder Bruno Fernandes. Bruno Fernandes is one player whom by now is no secret he has been under Manchester United's radar for the past four months of the 2019 summer season. Manchester United had put in a bid for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder during the early periods of the 2019 summer transfer window and the expectation was that Sporting Lisbon would accept the deal during the early month of June. However, the expectation from Sporting Lisbon accepting Manchester United’s 70 million dollar bid for the Sporting captain failed to materialize as negotiation talks between Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon continue to drag on throughout the summer.

Manchester United have made their intentions clear that the club will add one last piece to their team to help the modifications Manchester United continues to make to their team this summer and  Bruno Fernandez appears to be the final missing piece of the puzzle preventing Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer from having the team Solskjaer desires coming out of the 2019 summer transfer window. The details of Manchester United's transfer window appear to be unclear as question continues to pop up trying to unravel the entire mystery as to why Manchester United continue the struggle with completing the signing of one single player with no clear answers as of yet. However, the bits and pieces of information regarding Manchester United and why the club is yet to complete the transfer of a single-player comes down to one possible answer, more money!

Bruno Fernandes is one of Sporting Lisbon’s most valuable player in Sporting Lisbon if not currently the most valuable player in Sporting Lisbon at this current point in time. Realising this fact, Sporting Lisbon are clearly hesitant in selling one of their best players as the club plans to mount a serious challenge for the Portuguese league trophy and the UEFA Champions League trophy and Sporting Lisbon understand that keeping a valuable asset such as Bruno Fernandes in Sporting next season will enhance the clubs performance on the field next season. Hence the deal for Bruno Fernandes is taking so long, Sporting Lisbon is very much interested in the money Manchester United is offering. However, Sporting are just not sure the money is worth losing such a valuable member of their team.

70 million appear to have been too big an amount for the Portuguese club to pass on as few sources suggests that a deal which will effectively confirm Bruno Fernandez to be a Manchester United player this 2019 summer has been struck between Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon. The news was received by the ManchesterUnitedWeekly. Blogspot on the 29 of July that an agreement has been reached between Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United over the future of Bruno Fernandes and it appears only a matter of time before Bruno Fernandes is officially announced as a Manchester United player. From the reports gathered by various sports news outlets such as the ManchesterEveningNews and the Metro, the Portuguese midfielders emotional outburst of tears during Sporting Lisbon's final game of the season signals that Fernandez is at least %75 certain of parting ways with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon this summer. As far as the ManchesterUnitedweekly knows, Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon are yet to arrive at any official agreement regarding a move to Manchester United as of yet.  Manchester United will certainly complete the signing of Bruno Fernandes before` the end of the summer transfer window but the deal will not be complete until the end of August.  as of the 30 of July 2019, any news relating to Bruno Fernandes and any possible move to Manchester United currently stands at pure uncertainty with both Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United remaining moderately silent on any issues regarding a possible deal between both clubs for Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United have already hinted on more than one occasion during several press conferences that he plans to add a couple of new faces to his Manchester United squad before the end of the 2019 summer transfer window. So far the Norwegian manager has delivered with the signing of two young, promising, talents in Aaron Wan Bisaka and Daniel James this summer. Both Wan Bissaka and Daniel James have shown through their impressive performances during Manchester United's recent pre-season game that the pair of players both possess amazing qualities that can help turn Manchester United's season into a successful campaign this upcoming 2019/2020 season. However, a fair comparison between the current Manchester United squad and other teams around Manchester United might serve as a clear indicator as to why Manchester United will seal the deal for Bruno Fernandes this summer. Manchester United need a little more creative, versatile players in their midfield this upcoming season and Bruno Fernandes is the right man for the job should Manchester United complete the move this summer.
