MANCHESTER UNITED SWAP DEAL ON THE VERGE OF FAILING

The swap of the summer. The biggest roll of the dice Ole Gunner Solskjaer has ever made and quite possibly the best transfer move Manchester United will make this summer.

Just some of the words used to describe this summer massive set to take place between Manchester United and Italian giants Juventus. Manchester United have been involved with numerous transfer deals this summer, deals that were predicted to be game-changers for Manchester United in the future but deals that ultimately went sour or just simply never manifested into a deal worth seeing through. Nicolas Pepe moving to Manchester United, Koudiso Koulibali moving to Manchester United, Adrian Rabiot moving to Manchester United, all speculation that the fans of Manchester United have watched either die off as quickly as the transfer negotiation started or simply hit a bump and never really recovered.

Manchester United transfer activities for the summer have gotten so bleak that the club inability to make major signing this summer has left the Manchester United fans approaching every lastest transfer window speculation with the question  “is this story confirmed or just another baseless rumor?” while most of the transfer window stories in the tabloids this summer have mostly faded away, Manchester United supporters can be rest assured that the trade talks between Manchester United and Juventus to swap Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has by no means faded away just yet.

The talk of Manchester United searching for potential clubs who will serve as good suitors in need of a striker of Romelu Lukaku’s pedigree started back in January 2019 when Manchester United was suspected of putting together a swap deal with yet another Italian side Inter Milan. Inter, now under the care of ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte continues to fight to sign the Manchester United striker thisUnite summer as the Italian side look to increase their pursuit for Romelu Lukaku by preparing a possible 75 million pound bid for the Belgium striker.

The offer was set to be presented to Manchester United by the end of the month July with Inter Milan appear all but certain to land Romelu Lukakus services before the end of the transfer window. However, in a surprising turn of events, it seems another Italian giant in the form of Juventus and not the aforementioned Italian club Inter Milan will be landing Romelu Lukaku’s services in a deal that will see the Paulo Dybala head to England to become an official Manchester United player. The deal is one that will be most beneficial to both Manchester United and Juventus next season.

Manchester United have shown from recent matches played in Manchester United's 2019 pre-season tour that manager Ole Gunner Solskjear plans to make use of players with quick touches, flair and finesse next season to enable constant flow in Manchester United's attack. Manchester United target Paulo Dybala has time and time again that he has what it take to constantly fuel teams attacking force by constantly fueling the attack of the Juventus team for the past four years. Should the swap deal go through, Manchester United will land another creative player who will add to the creativity of players such as Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba. While Lukaku can be a player who can hold up the ball and alow wingers Cuadurado and Cristiano Ronaldo to make overlapping runs from the wing.

As of today, Manchester United remain on track to make one or two more signings without losing a lot of the already existing Manchester United players to the transfer market. As things stand, Manchester United have settled for the pursuit of one player, in particular, Paulo Dybala after Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer watched his desire to sign one of two promising center backs in Koudiso Kolibali go up in flames during the 2019 summer transfer window. As of July, thoughts had been swarming around Manchester United, across Old Trafford, thoughts of Manchester United possibly being unable to clinch one final signing before the end of the summer transfer window.

From all indication, Manchester United will make one last signing worth an estimated fee of at the very least 70 million by the end of August 2019. All signings point to Argentine midfielder Paulo Dybala being the last player to be signed by Manchester United as negotiation talks between Manchester United and Juventus continue to progress steadily.  Manchester United retains a positive hold as the team with the lead in the race to sign Argentine playmaker this summer with the official transfer by Manchester United currently retaining the original stance of straight swap between both clubs where Manchester United acquire the services of Paulo Dybala while Juventus get the services of Belgian big man Romelu  Lukaku.

After a direct comparison of both players, the statistics suggest Manchester United will have a slightly better hand should the deal go through this summer. With the quality both players possess not on the same level, Juventus is expected to agree to the swap. However, Juventus in addition to getting Romelu Lukaku will demand a reasonable transfer fee for a player of Paulo Dybala’s quality.
