MANCHESTER UNITED EXECUTIVES GOTTEN DAVID DEA SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED. WILL PAUL POGBA BE NEXT?

It's official now. David De Gea will remain a Manchester United player for the foreseeable long-term future. One of the conversations that had continuously rolled on a non-stop for the entire 2019 summer was the contract talks on Manchester United players.

Who will remain a Manchester United player and who will wave goodbye to their time at Manchester United? Which player will sign a new contract with the club and which player will choose to walk away from their time at Manchester United? For a long while, the best pick on which players will eventually leave Old Trafford at the end of the 2019 summer seemed to point to David De Gea and Paul Pogba with both players strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid. Heading into the middle of September and not only is David De Gea and Paul Pogba still Manchester United players but as of Friday, 13th September, the Spanish goalkeeper has decided to sign a 5-year deal worth approximately £255,000 a week.

An outstanding fee to pay for any player no doubt. However, considering how important the Spanish no 1 shot-stopper has been to Manchester United since his first arrival as a Manchester United player back in 2014, there is no doubt David De Gea is worth every penny. Before last weeks official announcement of Dea’s new contract signing, there were not a lot of hints that the Spanish shot-stopper would be signing the contract extension after the offer was first extended to De Gea back at the end of August. In fact, before last weeks announcement, most signs pointed to the Spanish international signing for one of the biggest clubs in the Spanish capital Real Madrid. The news of David De Gea coming close to a move back to Spain will come as a major shock to most football fans especially Manchester United fans.

De Gea has spent the better part of 8 years of his football career away from his country of origin Spain. While there is no doubt now where David De Gea’s club loyalty lies which are in the city of Manchester with the famous Red Devils, doubts still loomed over Old Trafford on the possibility of Spains number one leaving Manchester United to sign for long-time admirers from Spain Real Madrid. Manchester United have their main keeper now committed and ready to help the red devils succeed on the pitch. However, questions have to be asked concerning Manchester United's ability to close out deals quicker before these situations spiral out of control.

While the discussion centered on David De Gea’s recently concluded contract situation is indeed an exciting outcome one that is sure to excite the ever-loyal Manchester United fan base, it’s time to switch gears from a player who has settled the situation regarding his future at Manchester United to a player who is slowly approaching the end of his current contract at Manchester United. Yes, talking about the man at the center everything at Manchester United Paul Pogba. An article that centers on issues surrounding English giants Manchester United will not be a complete article without a talk about the man that sits at the center of everything for Manchester United and that is of cause french midfielder Paul Pogba. Manchester United in the last three years have struggled to win trophies and while the team as whole have not lived up to the expectations that rest on the shoulders of Manchester United players season after season, the one player who has consistently come under massive criticism for Manchester United's recent shortcomings is Paul Pogba.

The issue with Paul Pogba surprisingly really has nothing necessarily to do with contract issues. During the last few weeks of Jose Mourinho’s last moments as Manchester United manager leading up to Ole Gunner Solskjaers eventual take over as Manchester United manager, Manchester United were facing an end to a season were Manchester United had settled a discussion between the club and Paul Pogba were the french midfielder had signed a new contract extension that solved the problem of the midfielders expiring deal with Manchester United which saw Paul Pogba signing a new deal worth 75.400,00 including a 15.000 worth of salary that certified the French star will remain a Manchester United player at least until 2021.

Even with the new contract that continues to certify that Paul Pogba will continue to remain a Manchester United for the next two years at least, various Newspaper editors and sports analysts continue to insist that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United football club before his current contract expires in two years with pundits continuously  insisting that french midfielder will leave Manchester United football club by the end of the 2019 calendar. The news update concerning Paul Pogba suggests that while Manchester United have tied the french midfielder down for the long run, Pogba will be leaving Manchester United in the summer of 2020.

While the rumors of Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United continues to come in thick and fast the simple truth remains, Pogba remains a Manchester United player despite attempts of other clubs to sign the French midfielder. Each transfer window. Paul Pogba presence in the field during Manchester United's recent 1-0 victory against Premier League side Leicester City has once again instigated rumors that the French man will be leaving Manchester United come January 2020 but upon further analysis, the midfielder missed out on last weekends victory because of a minor injury.

Pogba is scheduled to return to action during Manchester United's match against West Ham this Sunday with the French midfielder's contract with Manchester United still valid until June 2021.
