MANCHESTER UNITED BOARD OF DIRECTORS CLARIFY THE CLUBS' PLANS FOR THE FUTURE

The clarification has been made and the official verdict for Manchester United's vision for the future remains the same as always. Manchester United remains committed to reinvesting a large portion of the clubs financial asset into modifying Manchester United as a football team by remaining active during each transfer window through signing new players and releasing existing players from their contracts with the club.

The Red Devils will continue to be a football club aiming to achieve success on the field each and every season. That is the Philosophy Manchester United prides itself on that is the Philosophy will continue to operate under moving forward into the future.  The apparently intelligent idea came from Manchester United's vise chairman Ed Woodward as the Red Devils attempt to address the never-ending rumors promoting Manchester United as the leading club expected to sign multiple players in the coming month of January 2020.

At the same time, Manchester United also attempted to address the swirling rumors of the board of directors the football club acting hesitant to support each of the past four Manchester United managers including current manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer during each transfer window.  While the comment from the clubs Vise- President might not be the exact response the Manchester United fans expect from one of the important leaders in charge of leading the English giants out of the unending slump resulting from the continuous lack of success, what the vice president's comments do translate is that the clubs hierarchy appear ready and willing to stretch limits in the pursuit of success for Manchester United financially or any other available route.

While the vice chairman's words might be exactly what fans expect their beloved Manchester United football club, the actions of the football club during recent transfer windows appear to be sending a different message altogether. The recent history of Manchester United football club in regards to the transfer window has pictured Manchester United in the image of a more uninterested football club in the past two years at least. In the past two years, Manchester United fans have not been shy of making their voices heard in regards to the level of players the fans will be content to see wearing the Manchester United jersey and the level of players Manchester United will look forward to seeing play for Manchester United. Anthony Griezeman, Kylian Mbape, Frankie De Jong, these are a list of just some of the players in football today who are not afraid to have the ball in their feet because of these players have the talent to change the course of the game as time passes.

Players such as these three are exactly the level of player Manchester United fans will like to see lineup alongside current players Martial, Rashford and Martial. Players with guts, skill and an undying thirst to bury the ball in the back of the net. These characteristics are exactly what the fans seek in each Manchester United player. While the requirements of a worthy Manchester United have been made clear by the fans of the football club, the inability of the Manchester United board of directors to sign players who can live up to the expectations of the fans appear to be very difficult to accomplish after the arrival of one Paul Pogba.

As the Manchester United board of director continue to promote the idea of continuous search to sign the right caliber of high-quality players taking place at the club through various football scouts, the recent rise in number of new, young, players making a name for themselves in Europe suggests one of three main options (a) Manchester United board are not really eager to sign new players, (b) Manchester United scouts are not good at their jobs and (  c ) other clubs around Europe not willing to do business with Manchester United. Judging from the history of the Glazers handling the activity of the transfer window for Manchester United, the best suitable will be that Manchester United seems not completely committed to the pursuit and subsequent signing of new players in the 2020 January and summer transfer window.

The continent of Europe continues to witness the rise of new young talent in the world of football year after year. Jadon Sancho, Vinicius Junior, Joao Felix, Alfonso Davis, Kai Havertz e.t.c are just some of the players on the list of young players seen to have high quality written on these players. While Manchester United will make a case to suggest that some of these players are still too young to sign on and handle the pressure of becoming Manchester United 1st team players, the better question for Manchester United to address should be what does the club stand to lose by signing one of these young players next year?

The answer, nothing to lose at all. In fact, with the financial stakes which comes from winning one of Europes competitions such as the two popular competitions the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, Manchester United will be making a smart financial investment with the reward to be received currently estimated to be 82 million, investing an average sum of 50 million to sign new players capable of improving the current Manchester United squad into Champions League winners will be a smart investment for the Manchester United board of directors in the coming month of January 2020.

The solution to the clubs trophy drought has been provided which is supporting Ole Gunner Solskjaer's recent, positive, achievements of getting Manchester United close to Champions League qualification with a little bit more quality signings needed to seal the deal. January 2020 will be an opportunity to improve the Manchester United squad by signing at least one midfielder.

While vice president Ed Woodward insists the team appear stable with the potential inclusion of more young players from the youth system, the future will certainly be interesting to see is the question of will Manchester United play the long game and believe in the youth system or do business in January will finally be answered.
