MANCHESTER UNITED URGED TO MAKE AN INADVISABLE CHANGE TO A VITAL PIECE OF THE CURRENT SQUAD

Has Ole Gunner Solskjaer done enough to earn himself a longer future in the managerial seat at Manchester United?

Securing new Golden boy at Manchester United Bruno Fernandes while adding more important chess pieces in Aaron Wanbissaka, Harry McGuire and Daniel James along the way. While some of the new additions made to the Manchester United team such as Daniel James have yet to hit the top heights in regards to the players full potential, other recent additions such as Aaron Wan Bissaka, Harry McGuire and Bruno Fernandes got the ball rolling as soon as they landed at the famous Old Trafford arena by making tackles, breaking up each opponents attacking potency while scoring and assisting goals for the Manchester United team.

Talk about making a drastic impact. Since joining Manchester United, trio Harry McGuire, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Bruno Fernandes have combined for a total number of 7.5 ratings in the combined performance of all three players so far this season. The work rate seen from the Manchester United team, in general, has seen the Red Devils climb from their mid-table position in the current 2019/20 season to revitalizing themselves as serious top 4 contenders in this season premier league table.

Considering the injury struggles Manchester United had encountered during the early part of the season and also considering the fact the club failed to sign the teams new Red night Bruno Fernandes before the start of the season, is there any statistical bases for manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer to be given the sack after the 2019/20 season? Let’s trackback to before the start of the season.

Manchester United came into the current 2019/20 season with the result of failing to qualify for this season's UEFA Champions League competition fresh in the registry book at Old Trafford. What was the main reason why Manchester United failed to qualify for this season's UEFA Champions League competition? The insufficient quality found in Manchester United midfield.

A simple, undeniable, fact anyone who watched the Red Devils last season will stand firm to support as the major factor which fueled the lack of success achieved by Manchester United last season. After observing any of the top-quality clubs in Europe today, the conclusion can be drawn that most top clubs in Europe today expect a large part of the team's creative quality which instigates goal-scoring opportunities to be supplied from the midfield.

For the midfield to play the role of the creative heart of any team effectively, each team should have at least two creative midfielders in the field for this strategy to be successful. Looking at the current Manchester United team, no doubt removing a player such as Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer leaves a massive, creative, void in Manchester United's midfield.

While there is no doubt Manchester United have the financial strength to part ways with a top player such as Paul Pogba and successfully sign another quality player during the upcoming 2020 transfer window, the big question is, how many midfielders who are not playing important roles for their clubs are on the quality level with Paul Pogba?

Two extra midfielders needed by Manchester United to enhance the Red Devils strength towards making a comfortable run for next seasons UEFA Champions spots or even better. Two extra midfielders were needed by Manchester United during the 2019 summer transfer for the sole purpose of enhancing Manchester United's potential to seriously challenge for the Premier League crown during the timeline of the current 2019/20 season and that is what Manchester United already have in their back pocket. So why break a good setup?

With the conclusion of both the 2019 Summer transfer window and the subsequent conclusion of the 2020 January transfer window, the Red Devils were able to secure the signing of one extra quality midfielder in Bruno Fernandez whom with the help of a healthy Paul Pogba will surely improve the quality of Manchester United midfield.

Yet despite the clear knowledge that the absence of both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes from the current Manchester United midfield will leave Manchester United lacking balance from the level of quality supplied from the midfield. Simply put, Bruno Fernandes alone is not enough.

Why go for Thomas Pallet or any other quality midfielder in the 2020 summer when Manchester United already have one of the best midfielders in the world in Old Trafford. As the conclusion of the 2019/20 season edges closer, major talks have already begun to surface about which player Manchester United will sign to improve the level of quality found in Manchester United's midfield. The big question is, why try your luck in signing another player who might work when Manchester United already have two top-class midfielders in Old Trafford? Why take the gamble?

As football teams around Europe and football fans around Europe continue to edge closer to the 2021 summer Transfer window with various football clubs preparing to sign new players and subsequently preparing to part ways with some players, there can be no surprise that one particular player continues to take center stage in the level of attention gathered towards him and his plans for the future.

ManchesterUnitedPost has no massive news to deliver in terms of Paul Pogba plan for next season, what is surprising is the high volume of critiques and high volume of football fans who want the french gone from Manchester United during the 2020 Summer Transfer window especially considering the idea that Paul Pogba is a world-class player whom can definitely still boost the quality of Manchester United's midfield when the french star is operating in a full, healthy, condition.

The story around the Manchester United and Paul Pogba situation continue to remain that Paul Pogba is a Manchester United player. However, with multiple clubs already queuing up in front of the door at Old Trafford, the situation set to unfold during the 2020 summer transfer window will surely be interesting.

Football lovers will turn their attention during the upcoming 2020 summer season as the world waits to see if Manchester United will stick with Paul Pogba and convince the French star to commit his future to Manchester United or see if Paul Pogba will cut his losses and decide to achieve success away from an unreasonably fickle fan base.
