MANCHESTER UNITED SITUATION WITH MIDFIELDER SIMPLY MISCONSTRUED

Football Mega Agent Mino Raiola is the only person that wants french star Paul Pogba out of Old Trafford this summer? Not necessarily true.

While big shot agent has not hidden his intentions of getting star midfielder Paul Pogba out of Manchester United within the past year or two, here at the ManchesterUnitedChannel website, there is sufficient reason to believe that the recent discussion surrounding an exit from Old Trafford for the French midfielder in the summer of 2020 is not necessarily the complete fault of Mino Raiola. Frankly here at ManchesterUnitedChannel, the understanding is that the reason why Paul Pogba might not be completely settled in dedicating his long term future to Manchester United will have to do with the demure of Manchester United fans.

The fact of the matter is that vast majority of Manchester United fans continue to have a turbulent relationship with the French midfielder which traces back to the 2016/18 seasons under Jose Mourinho where Paul Pogba struggled to live up to the expectations put on the midfielder to be the main x-factor that will lead Manchester United football club back to the status of being an elite football club. While Manchester United have yet to return to the status of being the heavyweight football club the Red Devils once was even though Manchester United still have a star player such as Paul Pogba in the team, majority of people involved with football fail to understand that most of Manchester United recent shortfalls are not the fault of Paul Pogba.

In 2016, Manchester United appointed a famous Portuguese general manager known as Jose Mourinho who had a reputation of transforming struggling clubs into champions or at least runner up champions by the end of the season and this was the whole goal behind Manchester United's appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager was most likely due to the Portuguese manager proven ability to spot the right talent that will thrive in any team Jose Mourinho was in charge of. Surely by now most people involved with football especially most people who show interest in Manchester United football club were aware of one notable meeting between Manchester United board of directors and Jose Mourinho were Mourinho was understood to have presented a list of major players Manchester United needed to sign to get back to the elite caliber and potential future champions. Paul Pogba was understood to be on that list but so were a hand full of at least four other top star players.

Paul Pogba was signed by Manchester United three years ago, but where were the other three-star which was promised? Just recently did Manchester United acquire the services of a second creative midfielder by the name of Bruno Fernandes who has simply been nothing but extraordinary but before the signing of Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba was expected to carry the creative load in the center midfield area Alone for Manchester United. That is not realistic.

The fact is that while football critiques and a portion of Manchester United fans continue to lay blame on Paul Pogba for Manchester United's recent lack of success the fact of the matter is that Manchester United recent lack of trophies is deeper than just a single problem that can be solved by one player. Looking at the current relationship between Paul Pogba and the  Manchester United fan base, safe to say not everyone wants to see the French midfielder leave Old Trafford this summer.

Truth is that vast number of Manchester United fans and even majority of current Manchester United players, as well as Manchester United coaching staff all, want to see Paul Pogba extend his future with Manchester United but in some aspect, the truth is that a good portion of the criticism and frustration channeled towards the french midfielder has come as a result of Paul Pogba own indecisive attitude regarding his future. Or at least Paul Pogba's inability to come clean about where he plans to be playing football next year.

There is no doubt that a handful of Manchester United supporters continue to find issues with Paul Pogbas' presence at Manchester United with a noticeable number of fans still insisting that Manchester United can do better without having the french midfielder at Manchester United next season. However, analyzing Manchester United situation with Paul Pogba and addressing the question of will Manchester United be better off having Paul Pogba as a long term player or if Manchester United football club is better off cutting their losses with the french midfielder and searching for another midfielder in the same caliber as Paul Pogba?

The honest answer to the question is that there are few to non in terms of players out there who can match the quality of Paul Pogba. Truthfully speaking, only one midfielder has stepped up to the plate when comparing qualities with the french midfielder and that is Bruno Fernandes. However, Manchester United must understand that for top success to return to the club, the Red Devils will need more than Bruno Fernandes alone or Paul Pogba alone. Manchester United need both.

There is no doubt that Manchester United attack have gained massive improvement since the introduction of players such as Daniel James, Aaron Wanbisaka, Marcus Rashford, and Luke Shaw operating effectively on the wings. With the quality finishing of Anthony Martial, Masson Greenwood, and for the time being Odion Ighalo, manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer possibly knows that Manchester United currently has a team that can still secure Champions League football, possibly finish the season in 3rd or 4th sport in the Premier League this season.

The next step for Manchester United might then compete for the Premier League and Champions League trophy next season with the addition of a Jadon Sancho this summer. However, Manchester United will inevitably be undoing the impressive strides towards returning back to the successful team they once were if the club signs Jadon Sancho but loses Paul Pogba in the process.
