MANCHESTER UNITED CONTINUE TO MAKE STRIDES TOWARDS SUCCESS DESPITE FEW STUMBLES

'

Ok! Let's take a dose of a reality check and face the facts! As far as modern football goes, no team is perfect! A lot of modern football teams in Europe today experience setbacks time after time.

The theory of setbacks appears to be most effective around teams in Europe who were once regarded as one of the best but unfortunately suffered a series of struggles and series of setbacks in recent years. The road back to the pinnacle of success was never going to be quick and easy. There will be stumbles along the way but here is the good news in Manchester United’s perspective, there is progress being made and the level of progress the Red Devils aim to achieve in the space of the next two seasons appears to be showing through two big news this month.

The presence of a decent backline in Aaron Wan Bissaka, Eric Bailey, Victor Lindelof, Harry McGuire, Brandon Williams, and Luke Shaw. The strong defensive reassurance of Nemanja Matic giving Manchester United that extra defensive reassurance which allows creative players such as Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood come to aid of a very dangerous striker in Anthony Martial by increasing the danger Manchester United pose to any opponent has proven to be a very effective asset for Manchester United this season in the quest for UEFA Champions League football next season.

While the starting XI for manager Ole Gunner  Solskjaer has indeed delivered by keeping Manchester United one victory away from securing a spot in the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League competition, the problem is outside the current starting XI for Manchester United, Ole Gunner Solskjaer lack top level that can inject creativity consistently on the field in the absence of Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. With that being said, here is the recent information involving Manchester United and the 2020 summer transfer window.

It’s Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish or burst now for Manchester United as the regular season comes to an end and the 2020 summer transfer window enters crunch time in August with a single month anticipated to be made available for every club in Europe to complete all desired transfers for the 2020 summer season before the 2020/21 season kicks off in September 2020. Due to the short space of time available for clubs to complete all transfers this summer, some clubs in Europe have already managed to get ahead of other clubs by completing a bulk if not all of their summer signings as early as late June and mid-July 2020.

With Manchester United yet to make any signings this summer season and no other players seriously linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, this road to Old Trafford looks set to accommodate a move solely from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United primarily for Jadon Sancho alone this 2020 summer season.

Borussia Dortmund has already made their decision very clear that should their star player depart from the BVB stadium, Borussia Dortmund will not agree to any deal less than 130 million for the English winger. However, the recent reports coming from Germany states Dortmund is now prepared to agree to a deal with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho to move to Old Trafford this 2020 summer season but only if Manchester United provides the original 130-million-dollar price tag with the Red Devils insistent on paying 101 million this August instead.

The Jadon Sancho saga continues to get ever so interesting as the summer season wears on. A couple of months ago reports from different outlets pilled out with suggestions that Jadon Sancho was not going to Manchester United but rather if the English winger was going to return to England he was poised to join Manchester United's local rival Liverpool back in the early part of 2020. A couple of articles had swirled around the media for a couple of weeks suggesting that Jadon Sancho was ready to choose a move to Liverpool over a move to Manchester United this summer due to the notion that Jadon Sancho was a boyhood Liverpool fan.

However, this is not the case. Liverpool is currently not regarded as one of the clubs in the race to sign Jadon Sancho this summer and with potential suitors, Chelsea already understood to have exhausted their transfer funds as a result of Chelsea’s recent signings, Manchester United is understood to be the sole club in advanced stages in regards to sealing the deal for Jadon Sancho.

The price for Jadon Sancho still stands at 100 million demanded by Borussia Dortmund this summer. However, with Manchester United also determined not to pay a price higher than 80 million to bring the English winger over to Old Trafford by the end of this 2020 summer season, what Manchester United Channel website understands of the situation at this current time is that for Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund to finally put the Jadon Sancho to an end come late August 2020, a deal of around 85 million or close to 90 million will be the decision that might bring  Jadon Sancho over to Old Trafford at the end of August or middle of September 2020.

Will the possible addition of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish during this 2020 summer season be enough to elevate Manchester United to possible Champions in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League next season? Possibly! The fact is the Red Devils will strengthen this summer but as Manchester United Channel, the Red Devils are not ready to invest time and capital beyond the acquisition of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish this summer.

With both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish sounding uncertain about their futures at the moment, Manchester United is understood to be ready to head into both the Olympique Stadium and the Westfalenstadion this 2020 summer season with the full confidence of securing the services of both Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho for a combined total of 180 million transfer fee.  A fee that might yet rise a little further before any final agreement should  Borussia Dortmund refuse to let Jadon Sancho go for the expected 101 million offer to be submitted by Manchester United by the end of July 2020. A fee that is anticipated to be accepted by both Borussia  Dortmund and Aston Villa at the start of August 2020.

Should Manchester United seal the deal for both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish as well as convincing Paul Pogba to sign a longer-term contract this summer, Manchester United will be facing a future filled with potential success as a result of sufficient depth in the quality found in Manchester United’s future roster. A reality that seems very possible at the moment and reality which will allow the Red Devils to carry a higher degree of confidence in their pursuit for trophies come the 2020/21 football season.
