MANCHESTER UNITED SETTING THEIR SIGHTS ON SIGNING A FEW MORE QUESTIONABLE PLAYERS BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON

Manchester United cannot sign any more new world-class player this summer after securing Donny Van Der Beak!

Obviously, this will not be the most welcoming news to Manchester United supporters as we near the start of the 2020/21 football season but unfortunately the Red Devils threw all their eggs into one basket that never resulted in anything positive. In the current scramble to salvage any type of respectable signing that will paint the Red Devils as winners emerging out from the 2020 summer transfer window, Manchester United appear to be turning their attention to any decent player put on the transfer list across Europe.

David Brooks and Douglas Costa continue to be the only two realistic signings making waves as players whom might possibly be headed to Old Trafford this summer and as a result of the transfer talks linking Manchester United to both David Brooks and Douglas Costa, questions have popped up as to just how serious Manchester United intends to strengthen their squad and just how serious Manchester United intends the retain the high level of quality in their team if the Red Devils transfer targets are players operating in a level below the quality level expected from Manchester United players or how exactly will the Red Devils succeed in the near and distant future if Manchester United’s transfer targets are players who have respectfully past their prime age.

A prime example of just how interesting Manchester  United have adjusted their targets from the  midpoint  and towards the endpoint of the 2020 summer transfer window is the two recent players linked with a move to Old Trafford this 2020 summer season. After the disappointment of failing to secure top targets Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, questions were raised as to which player exactly will the Red Devils will turn towards to add a little more quality into manager Ole Gunner  Solskjaer squad.

In doing so, the player hopefully takes the pressure of creativity off the shoulders of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

With all five players solidifying their status in the starting XI for manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer, all eyes have quickly shifted to the bench with the next valid question being does the Red Devils have enough quality outside their starting eleven to maintain the high quality needed to secure success throughout a long Premier League and UEFA Champions League campaign? If not, what are the steps Manchester United is planning to take to improve their squad?

At the moment the research, though still inconclusive, suggests the Red Devils have marked Douglas Costa and David Brooks as players who can add the necessary quality needed to boost Manchester United back to the status of Champions both in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League competitions

The idea of Manchester United's rapidly growing interest in signing young Welshman David Brooks from Bournemouth AFC is a very positive move that will add strength and improve the quality of the current Manchester United team. David Brooks is a player that can operate in two important positions for Manchester United which is the right-wing position and the center attacking position which will afford two players in Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood, whom have both established themselves as prominent starters under current manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer, some much-needed rest period.

What started out as harmless charter suddenly picked up a little is the idea of midfielder David Brooks leaving current club Bournemouth for Manchester United. The conversation started out as harmless gossip has elevated to a transfer that might actually be completed by the end of September 2020.

Manchester United has unfortunately missed out on what could have been the dream signing of the 2020 summer season which would have been the acquisition of English winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. However, despite the setback, the Red Devils appear to still believe that they can still secure some signings by the end of the 2020 summer season whom can come in and add some necessary dept in quality to manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer squad as a sort of the second squad coming off the bench or starting games against teams such as Aston Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace for example.

With the idea of a strong auxiliary team performing and attempting to maintain good performances as well as good results in the middle of next season when fatigue kicks in and limits the creative performance of 1st team players such as Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in the middle of the park, then having a player such as David Brooks whom can come off the bench or even start some games affording Manchester United’s creative midfield dynamo in Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes some much-needed breather during the upcoming 2020/21 season.

£27 million bid for Douglas Costa is rumored to have been placed by the Red Devils over the past month as Manchester United continue to be understood to be prepared to straighten the Manchester United squad for Ole Gunner Solskjaaer this summer. Douglas Costa’s current club Juventus FC have quickly rejected the bid from Manchester United insisting that the Brazilian winger will not leave Turin for anything 40 million this summer.

With Manchester United continuously reminding the general public of the clubs’ inability to spend exorbitantly this summer, the prospect of Manchester United splashing 40 million on the 29-year-old winger continues to show unrealistic potential.

Manchester United Channel will continue to monitor all these stories and return to touch on each one if any further development occurs before the conclusion of the 2020 summer transfer window.
