MANCHESTER UNITED MIGHT FAIL TO ESTABLISH SQUAD REINFORCEMENT AT THE END OF THE 2020 SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW

Agreeing to a personal term is one thing and agreeing to a deal for a move is another.

All summer the conversation surrounding Manchester United has consistently come down to deals between Manchester United and various clubs across Europe with verbal agreements being constantly settled between Manchester United and a handful of clubs across Europe. The bases for the deal being that a player will undoubtedly join Manchester United by the end of the winter transfer window but only if the financial demands are met.

During the last couple of transfer window, Manchester United football club, in particular, has been a reoccurring participant in the game of inconclusive deals with each January transfer window or with each summer transfer window was the deal broke down as a result of players possible disinterest in joining Manchester United or as a result of lack of agreement on a transfer fee between Manchester United and other European clubs.

Here is the crazy truth which Manchester United supporters have had to face for the past four months at the very least and this continues to be the truth which Manchester United had unfortunately continued to be concerned about until the conclusion of the recent 2020 summer transfer window, exciting, talented, players such as Tino Werner, Kai Havertz, James Rodriguez have all had the potential of being available during the current 2020 summer transfer window and before the 2020 summer transfer window.

While reports coming from Manchester United subtly claims the Red Devils were never interested in pursuing these players for an opportunity to sign them, there are a few hints which have been circulating throughout the 2020 summer season that suggests Manchester United were well informed of these players availability but the Red Devils ultimately found the demand for such players too high to meet.

A clear comparison between the current Manchester United squad and other football clubs not just in the English Premier League but comparison with other clubs across as well shows that, while Manchester United have done a good job with their two most recent signings in Bruno Fernandes, Harry McGuire, and Donny Van Der Beak, the populous opinion surrounding Manchester United suggests that the club from the Red side of Manchester, England will make another signing before the end of the 2020 summer transfer window.

With the major conversation surrounding Manchester United in the final two weeks of the 2020 summer transfer window suggesting Jadon Sancho will be the last player to be signed by Manchester United this summer, there is still no change in Borussia Dortmund's stance in demanding nothing more than 120 million for Jadon Sancho. If Manchester United is to secure the service of Jadon Sancho in the next two weeks, 120 million will be the price to pay and there is still no concrete news Manchester United will provide the 120 million demanded by Borussia Dortmund at the point in time.

On the topic of which players will be the most likely candidate to sign for Manchester United by the end of the 2020 summer transfer window, the compass has continued to point to Jadon Sancho as the likely candidate to emerge as the late signing and possibly the final player to be signed by Manchester United at the final stages of the 2020 summer transfer window. As most sports fans will know, more importantly, as Manchester United fans, in particular, will know by now, Jadon Sancho undoubtedly continues to be the main target for Manchester United this summer transfer window. However, on the pursuit of Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils appear to have other candidates in their back pockets as players who can still emerge possible signings to be made by the end of the 2020 summer transfer window should a move for Jadon Sancho fail to manifest by the end of the 2020 summer transfer window.

Now that the clear priority target for Manchester United in Jadon Sancho is set to occupy Manchester United's entire focus during the remaining few days of the 2020 summer transfer window, there is yet to be any guarantee that Manchester United will finally land their target this summer especially since the Red Devils have continuously refused to meet the price tag demand by German side Borussia Dortmund. While the negotiations between Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United carry on possibly until the tail end of the 2020 summer transfer window, there are some concerns that Manchester United might be overlooking other potential right-wingers who can perform well in a Manchester United shirt this season and future seasons to come.

With players such as Ousman Dembele and Gareth Bale still available as a second choice signing for Manchester United at the tail end of the 2020 summer transfer window, the Red Devils still have time to boost the level of quality present in the current Manchester United squad. Jadon Sancho will undoubtedly continue to be the number one target for Manchester United even during the next summer transfer window in 2021.

However, with the latest information coming from Borussia Dortmund, Germany, consistently reiterating that the German side will not be reducing their stance of 120 million at any moment throughout the entire 2020 summer transfer window, Manchester United might be preparing to seal the deal for Jadon Sancho within the last laps of the transfer window or pull out of the deal and sign two alternative players with just two weeks of the transfer window remaining.
