The 2021 summer transfer window is almost here or maybe the 2021 summer transfer window is already here but that all depends on when exactly you are reading this article.

According to recent information received here at Manchester United Channel, Ivorian defender Eric Bailey has entered the last stages of his current standing four years contract signed with Manchester United back in 2016. 


As such, the Red Devils had three decision to make during this 2021 summer transfer window, either present Eric Bailey with a brand new contract this summer, accept a deal from any new club willing to sign Eric Bailey this summer, or simply wait until Eric Bailey’s current standing contract runs out by the end of the 2021 season. 


At that point, Manchester United would have had no choice but to watch Eric Bailey walk away from Manchester United and sign for a new club basically on a free transfer during the 2022 summer transfer window.   
















From what Manchester United Channel understands of the situation between Manchester United and Eric Bailey, the club from central Manchester had no intention of letting go of their Ivorian defender with Manchester United manager Ole Gunner  Solskjaer reiterating that defender Eric Bailey remains included in the long-term standing plans at Manchester United.
