MANCHESTER UNITED DELIVER BIG BLOW TO THE RATE OF PROGRESS TOWARDS ACHEVIED SUCCESS FOR THE MANCHESTER UNITED WOMEN'S TEAM

There have been many topics coming out of Manchester United over the course of the past two weeks alone.

The most “interesting” conversation of all the conversations taking place recently is the conversation which implies that Manchester United’s second-place finish in the standings of this season's Premier League competition. believe it or not, some people still believe that Liverpool should be the runner ups at the end of the 2020/21 Premier League competition. Why? Because according to some Liverpool fans, Jurgen Klopp’s team has proven time and time again that they are a better team than Manchester United when comparing the number of quality players found on both sides.

While this idea might be true to some extent, there is certainly little to no arguments to be had in the idea that the level of progression Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has achieved so far this season- making the 2020/21 Europa League final and securing top four in this season Premier League table at the very least- places Manchester United as the better team over Liverpool at least for this season alone, right?

Well, believe it or not, the comparison between Manchester United and Liverpool concerning how both teams have performed this season has surprisingly enough been the dominating conversation around the majority of social media platforms for the past few weeks. A very interesting comparison considering the reality that looking at the 2020/21 Premier League table Manchester United is poised to finish second place in the Premier League table and Manchester United have registered their name in this season’s Europa League final on the cusp of securing yet another Europa League trophy, that is certainly progress.

Now compare the progress Manchester United has achieved this season to the current situation currently being experienced at Liverpool where Jurgen Klopp's side was hardly ever in the race for the Premier League crown and as the season comes to a close, we see Liverpool currently still struggling to break into the top four of the English Premier League table. So, in reality, the evidence of the position occupied by both teams in this season's Premier League table should be enough to point to which side has been the better team this season.

However, this is not the case as Manchester United Channel continue to receive few conversations held on different social media platforms that suggest Manchester United and Liverpool are two teams both holding the same level of success through what both teams have been able to do in the 2020/21 Premier League competition.

But that topic will be left for another day because the contents of tonight’s article are not related to Manchester United’s men’s team. This article will actually address the recent situation that transpired within the Manchester United women’s team.

For anyone who has not been able to keep tabs on the Red Devil’s and how there had been coming along under Casey Stoney’s managerial period, the Red Devils had made a good start to the season jumping ahead of teams such as Arsenal and Manchester City to secure a stronghold on second place in the Barclays Women’s Soccer League table in the early part of the season.

That is until Manchester United experienced an injury crisis when some of the top players such as Christen Press, Leah Galton, Ella Toon, Alessia Russo, and of cause Tobin Heath all experienced injuries at some point during the course of last season with Alessia Russo and Tobin Heath added to the list of longest absentee players from the squad as a resulted injuries picked up during the 2021 Women Soccer League season.

Despite the notable absentees witnessed from the Manchester United team during the 2020/21 Barclays Women’s Soccer League season, Manchester United was still able to make the race to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League competition very tight one for the majority of last season. That is until the Red Devils eventually lost the race to Arsenal in a climatic 3-0 loss to opponents Arsenal in a match last season that ultimately decided which team gets to play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

While tonight’s article is about the progress made by the Manchester United women's team, despite the difficult injury woes the team had faced last season, tonight’s article will mainly address the recent development that has transpired within the Manchester United football club over the past month and that is the decision by Manchester United to relinquish ex-manager Casey Stoney from her duties as Manchester United boss.

The surprising decision made by the decision-makers at Manchester United considering the visible progress Manchester United had made during the 2020/21 Women’s soccer league season. Head scratching decision will be the right term to use about the sacking of manager Casey Stoney and according to the information received here at Manchester United Channel about the decision by Manchester United to relinquish Casey Stoney of her managerial duties, Manchester United and Cassie Stoney both agreed the time had come for both parties to call a quits after the club felt Cassey Stoney was starting to lose steam in regards to the rate of development the team was experiencing under Cassey Stoney’s managerial tenure.

However, further information received here at Manchester United Channel suggests that’s simply not the case. While Manchester United has paraded the idea that Cassey Stoney had reached her limits in terms of developing the Manchester United women’s team, here are some of the suggested reasons why Casey Stoney and the board at Manchester United just did not get along. This information has also been suggested to be a part of major reason why the Manchester United women’s team struggled to find major success during the first two years of its existence.

The limited budget allocated to the Manchester United women’s team during each transfer window, poor care, and sub-par level of attention delivered towards the development of the Manchester United women’s team is reportedly the major reason behind Casey Stoney departing from her position as head manager of the Manchester United women's team. Towards the end of last season, ex-manager Casey Stoney had voiced out her displeasure in the poor level of investment being made by the hierarchy at Manchester United to build this Manchester United women's team into a team capable of lifting the Women's Soccer League trophy.

However, for the past two years, Ex-manager Casey Stoney has been let down by the Manchester United board in regards to finances allocated to the women`s team and in regards to the level of general backing given to the Manchester United women`s team. The financial support continues to be the main issue dominating all aspects of Manchester United and with the 2021 summer transfer window for the Barclays Women`s Soccer League now on the verge of reopening, a massive level of attention will be given to Manchester United throughout the upcoming 2021 summer transfer window.

As far as managerial replacement news goes for the Manchester United women`s team, Manchester United is understood to have started the recruitment process that comes with hiring a new manager. The news of a new manager hired as the head coach for the Manchester United women`s team is expected to be made by the club before the end of the Barclays Women`s Super League summer transfer window.

The hope from the club will most likely be that with a new manager hired a couple of weeks before the end of the 2021 summer transfer window, there will be enough time afforded to the new manager time to inspect the team and make all necessary improvements that need to be made before the 2021 summer transfer window comes to an end.

An unrealistic expectation to say the least considering the issue with expiring player contracts and the handful of additional signings Manchester United must make this summer if the Red Devils are to reach the Hights of a Chelsea, Manchester City, or Arsenal in the Barclay’s Women’s Soccer League. But Manchester United Channel will continue to pay attention to Manchester United to see how the club addresses the situation with the Manchester United women’s team.
