MANCHESTER UNITED WOMEN'S TEAM REMAIN IN LIMBO BUT IS THE MANCHESTER UNITED BOARD FINALLY TAKING STEPS TO RESOLVE THE SITTUATION ?

There's really no secret scientific data needed when it comes to understanding the emotions circulating within the Manchester United women's team fan base. Frustration, anxiety, and concern pretty much sum up emotions circulating around the Manchester united women's team fan base.  

 



 

After watching the Manchester united women's team play fantastic football for most of last season and reach agonizingly close to securing their place in next seasons UEFA Champions League competition, the Red Devils have seen themselves drop from potential challenges for the Barclays women's FA trophy in the early half of last season to a place of limbo which the Manchester United women team currently dwells.  


At the moment, confusion continues the linger around the Manchester United women's team who remains without the leading manager, and issues with contracts yet to be resolved between the club and a few Manchester United player's whose contracts with Manchester United will come to an end this summer.

The above statement was made by Manchester United CEO Joel Glazer just over a month ago as the club continues to its complete commitment into improve the Manchester United women's team from runner-ups to two potential champions very soon.


While the assured promise to improve Manchester United’s team continues to be delivered repetitively to the Manchester  United fan base- particularly the fan base of the Manchester United women's team- the only problem casting massive distrust on the words delivered by the Manchester United board is that with a month already gone by since the promise to deliver improvements and restructure plans said to be invested into the Manchester United women's team by the Manchester United board, there is yet to be any sort of the improvement delivered into the Manchester United women's team with three months at the summer season almost exhausted.  

 

 

 

No new signings being worked on, no signs that the club is at least attempting to address issues such as expiring contracts yet to be renewed for some of the current players (besides Ella Toone and Leah Galton who were both offered a new one year - which also should be looked at because she deserves a two-year contract at least- and a five-year contract already signed by Leah Galton). 


After Manchester United seemed resigned to letting some of the more creative, influential, players in the team in Lauren James, Tobin Heath and Christine Press walk away from the club for nothing this summer, the question now is what does Manchester United have planned for Manchester United women's team? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These problems listed above plus the fact that the club is yet to appoint a new general manager for the woman's team after the departure of influential manager Casey Stoney continues to highlight just how much of an issue the Manchester United women's team is facing at the moment. With the 2021/22 Barclays FA women's Super League fast approaching as the new season is set to kick off in September, these are very critical stages which any club intent on succeeding must act on and implement the necessary changes that need to be made if the club fully intends to take this Manchester United women’s team to the next level next season.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

While the Red Devils have at least addressed this situation facing the women's team through the quotes made by Manchester United’s vice-chairman Ed Woodward which was highlighted earlier in this article, the fact remains that Manchester United FC is yet to start taking real action in regards to improving the Manchester United’s women's team as of the first two weeks of July 2021.  

 

 

Look, no one wants to criticize the club. The main goals which this article is aiming for are to see the Manchester United women's team succeed on the pitch and reach the highest peak of success that the Red Devils can possibly aim for which is lifting the Barclays women's super league trophy and at least competing in the UEFA champions league next season.  

 

 

 

 

But the reality remains that for the Manchester United woman’s team to succeed next season, improvements need to be made this summer in the form of a few new players signed by the club this summer and most importantly completing the process of appointing a new manager for the Manchester United Women’s team. A decision has to be finalized a month before the start of the season. At the moment, these improvements are not anywhere near getting started and there has to be a massive source of concern within the Manchester United fanbase who continue to eagerly await to see if the club will deliver on their promise to improve the Manchester United women's team this 2021 summer season.  

 













 

 

 

These steps must be taken before the end of the 2021 summer season if Manchester United seriously intend to see its Manchester United women's team succeed at being crowned champions of the Barclays FA women's Soccer League or the Manchester United women’s team will most likely fail In any attempt the club makes to at least qualify for the UEFA Champions League competition at the end of the coming season if these issues attached to the Manchester United women's team are not addressed this summer. 

 

 

Yet, as we arrive at the meet and gritty part of the 2021 summer transfer window, there is yet to be any moves done to improve this Manchester United and the stack reality that the Manchester united women's team might be heading into a new season which might possibly end in despair continues to loom around the Manchester United women's team and the Manchester United fanbase as we edge closer to next season.
