MANCHESTER UNITED TALK -- IS OLE GUNNER SOLSKJAER THE RIGHT MAN OR HAVE MANCHESTER UNITED ACTED ON BLIND FAITH ?.

Is Ole Gunner Solskjaer the right man who can lead Manchester United back to the high status of being called Premier League champions and UEFA champions league champions?

A question that seems to have existed for over a decade even though Ole Gunner Solskjaer has only been Manchester United manager for two seasons. With the Norwegian manager now entering his third season on the managerial seat of Manchester United football club, criticism is rightfully expected. However, some have claimed that the Noweigian manager have displayed enough progress during his first two seasons to suggest that a third and fourth season with an improved Manchester United squad should be enough to enable any compitent Manchester United manager to secure one or two major silverware for Manchester United.

Should Ole Gunner Solskjaer fail to deliver anything less than one major silverware and secodary silverware such as the FA Cup within the next two seasons, then surely another managerial change will be highly expected at Manchester United. Harsh? Maybe! But these are the levels of success expected from any manager in charge of the Manchester United football club.

Success is demanded from any Manchester United manager from the first day in charge of the Red Devils until their last day walking out of the club. Although manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer had been given some level of leniency over his lack of success in his first two years as manager due to lack of competent work by the board of directors at Manchester United over the last few years, some doubters have continued to point to a few reaasons to surpport their claim that Ole Gunner  Solskjaer is not the right manager for the job at Manchester United.

One of the reasons being presented by some doubters to support the idea that Ole Gunner Solskjaer is not the right man for the managerial job at Manchester United is Solskjaer’s lack of experience as manager of any top football club.

The second reason which has now been presented against Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s credentials as Manchester United manager is the fact that Manchester United has simply been unable to win the Premier League and UEFA champions leave trophies under Ole Gunner Solskjaer  reign as Manchester United manager.

With all these reasons aside and because Manchester United have finally delivered Ole Gunner Solskjaer a team worthy enough to win the Premier League trophy and the UEFA Champions League trophy, you have to think that surely any good manager must now march forward and secure at least one major trophy for Manchester United given the level of quality players now present within this Manchester United squad.

Therefore, considering all these points which have been made in this article, the point can be presented that any good manager should be able to deliver a major trophy for Manchester United if not at the end of this season, then at the end of next season. Failure to do so might strongly indicate that the manager is not the right caliber of manager needed as a Manchester United manager.

With that being said here is the main question which presents the main premise of this article- is Ole Gunner Solskjaer the right caliber of manager who can lead Manchester United to win the clubs next major trophies after a decade or more that consisted of no major trophies won by the Red Devils?

Considering the magnitude of the new contract offered to Ole Gunner Solskjaer by Manchester United which has now been signed and sealed by both parties, the board of directors at Manchester United football club certainly believe that Ole Gunner Solskjaer is the right man who can deliver a major trophy for the Red Devils in the next two years.

But can Ole Gunner Solskjae deliver a trophy for Manchester United?

That is the conversation that seems to be ongoing amongst some of the top football analyses around the world and within the Manchester United fan base that’s according to the information received here at Manchester United Channel.

Despite what a lot of sportswriters, football analysts and, most importantly, what some of the Manchester United fan bases has to say about this issue, the fact of the matter is that Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer is set to be the Manchester United manager for the next four years at the very least.

Looking back on the manager had done so far, before the emergence of Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and before  Paul Pogba had rediscovered the form which made him one of the top midfielders in Europe at the moment, Manchester United had continued to clean a place in one of the top four spots of the Premier League table for quite a while without ever claiming the Premier League trophy for themselves in the past decade.

Yes! Ole Gunner Solskjaer has displayed some fantastic managerial skills in his ability to inject confidence, inject a little bit of new football knowledge into this Manchester United team. And Ole Gunner Solskjaer has also displayed some fantastic managerial skills in his ability to create new ways to generate points even in a difficult situation.

However, the ability to push a team into becoming not just one of the top four contenders but mainly the ability to convert a team from mere top four contenders in the Premier League table but turning the team into a strong trophy contender for the upcoming 2021/22 Premier League competition and UEFA champions league competition has always been what makes a manager the right manager who can lead any Manchester United team to success.

As a result of this, the confirmed reality of Manchester United handing Ole Gunner Solskjaer a new three-year contract starts to make sense because the Red Devils are possibly thinking- if manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer can achieve the level of progress he did in his first three years in charge of a severely depleted Manchester United team, then the idea of Ole Gunner Solskjaer winning a trophy with the new and improved Manchester United squad within the next two years suddenly looks like a promising investment for the Red Devils to make.

But what do football analysts and football fans – specifically Manchester United fans have to say about this?

As is the norm relating to Manchester United, in regards to big situations such as Manchester United handing Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s a new four-year contract, there seems to be a division in the world of football and within the Manchester United fan base on the topic of Ole Gunner Solskjaer being the right man for the job or not.

A good portion of football critics and a good portion of the Manchester United fan base still believe that the Norwegian manager has not done enough to warrant the massive trust to lead be Red Devils back to becoming champions in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League once again.

According to what the Manchester United channel understands, a good portion of the Manchester United fan base and a chunk of sports journalists across Europe believe that for Manchester United to become champions in any major competition once again the Red Devils must have one of the top managers across Europe leading the Red Devils into victory each season.

At the moment, only a select few sports journalists and the minorities within the Manchester United fan base truly believe that Ole Gunner Solskjaer is the right manager who can lead Manchester United back to winning major trophies once again.

From the standpoint of the Manchester United channel, looking at the current resume of manager Ole Gunner Solskjear, the Norwegian manager has not really underperformed heavily enough to warrant losing his job as Manchester United manager. Looking back at Manchester United’s recent history, the club has not really been able to provide any manager post sir Alex Ferguson with the right level of strong structure that will generate success over the past four years until now

Therefore, looking at the situation from that point of view, the fair route take will be that the board of directors at Manchester United have now provided manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer with the right level of tools to succeed with the acquisition of top players such as Bruno Fernandes, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho all now added into the mix as the new Manchester United team.

Therefore, there will be no problem if anyone were to make the proclamation that now is the best chance for Manchester United to finally get their hands on one or two of the major trophies in Europe which had eluded the club for nearly ten years.

However, the main important conversation which will be held in the next few years if Ole Gunner Solskjaer fails to deliver one or two major trophies within the next three seasons, then Manchester United will most likely pull the plug on Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s managerial tern at Manchester United and Manchester United will most likely enter yet another transitional phase if the Red Devils fail to secure one or two major trophies in the next two seasons.

This is a major season for Manchester United especially considering the massive gamble the Glazers have taken on Manchester United  manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer and considering the level of investments the Glazers have injected into this Manchester United team over the course of the 2021 summer transfer window.

The clear objective here is that the next two years are all or nothing. Ole Gunner Solskjaer must either lead Manchester United to win one or two major trophies in the next two years or Ole Gunner Solskjaer vacates the managerial hot seat at Manchester United.
