MANCHESTER UNITED HIT WITH A DREADED OUTCOME WHICH MOST TEAMS ACROSS EUROPE UNDERSTANDABLY FEARS AS THE WORST OUTCOME ANY TEAM CAN FACE THIS SEASON

Well, the time has finally arrived! The dreaded situation has finally unraveled itself at Old Trafford!

The outcome which Manchester United along with other football clubs around the world have been fearful of for quite a while and the situation which a good portion of the football club have actually faced for the past year or so in their prospective camps as Brian early made its presence known at Old Trafford.

As per recent evidence that has developed around Manchester United, the Red Devils had been lucky enough not to have had its campaign impacted massively by this situation in the early to the middle part of the 2021 calendar. However. as December 2021 came to its midway points, Manchester United’s luck regarding this situation appears to have run out with the club now heavily hit by a health crisis that is all too familiar to everyone around the globe.

Unless anyone has been completely turned off from the world for the past year, there really is no massive secret revealed through this statement that the world has been battling a COVID-19 pandemic for the past two years and this continues to be a pandemic that has incessantly continued to run its course throughout the entire globe and the world of football appears to be just another lane added to the course which the COVID-19 virus appears to have no intentions of overlooking.

Although, during the 2021 summer season, there were optimistic signs through reported cases across the globe that the statistics of the COVID-19 outbreak were strongly trending downwards because players and coaching Staffs, as well as all football personnel, had received mandatory vaccines and as a result, the future seemed to have painted a pathway for football to return back to normal.

Well, depends on what the modern depiction of normal is these days- as we continue to live in a modern-day COVID era.

With players now getting fully vaccinated, football had returned to normal in the middle of 2021. What was observed in the postvaccination phase in the 2021 summer season was that football was being played regularly with fans back in the stadium with Manchester United players evidently back to enjoying playing football in the company of the ever-present and ever appreciated Manchester United fan base actively present in the stadiums. The bottom line remained that football has returned and Manchester United was back to experiencing some level of normal football taking place during the past seven months or so.

With COVID vaccines now being delivered on a rapid scale and with almost the majority of People around the globe now vaccinated and more importantly with 70% of the population in the United Kingdom now fully vaccinated, the expectation had been that football can kick off in full gear and the liver the normal dose of football which had been experienced all over the UK for the past several decades.

The expectation had been that Manchester United specifically can move on and truly impose themselves in the Premier League and in the Champions League with the intent of winning both competitions with a completely healthy squad very much on the cards this season for the Red Devils. With the Red Devils having such a talented roster in their arsenal, the expectation was that Manchester United will move on and attain high success not just in the Premier League but in this season's UEFA Champions League competition.

With the roster consisting of players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Varane, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood expectation was that the Red Devils will move on and plow their way through to the top of the table in a season which was expected to end with the Red Devils attaining success either in the Premier League or in the Champions League this season.

Instead, what has already been witnessed Is that this has certainly not been the case as Manchester United has Been documented as a side that has gone through a few stumbling blocks which have played a role in limiting the level of success Manchester United has been able to attain this season.

Of course, there is no surprise that the new biggest stumbling challenge every club had to Overcome over the past year has been the COVID-19 virus. Various situations have played their part in this season's outcome and various situations continue to play the part of major obstaclelimiting Manchester United's progress towards success this season.

No excuses should realistically surface for lack of success particularly for a big club such as Manchester United. However, with a good portion of players within the Manchester United squad having been sidelined out of action through injury or the more obvious reason which happens to be players entering the health and safety protocol for the Covid 19 virus for a few periods this season, will failure by Manchester United to lift a major trophy be understandable and in some way should failure by Manchester United to lift a major trophy at the end of this season be overlooked because of the effects of the Covid-19 virus and the effects of fatigue on a fairly fragile roster lacking proper depth in quality?

With this season still up and running and with Manchester United still holding a very impressive squad that has a lot of talented players ultimately under the control of current interim manager Ralf Rangnick, there is still the question thrown at the direction of Manchester United- Is attaining success in the Premier League and attaining success in the Champions league still reasonable goals for Manchester United this season despite the impact of COVID-19 rendering a few players as absentees from the Manchester United squad in certain periods of this season?

At the moment, success in the Premier League appears very improbable for Manchester United and this is a situation which can be attributed in some level to the impact of the Covid-19 virus limiting some players from performing at a 100% level or the Covid-19 virus limiting players from being able to perform at all for Manchester United in various parts of this season for Manchester United. Considering the impact unforeseen circumstances such as injuries and illnesses have had at Manchester United this season, success in the Champions League continues to look plausible for the Red Devils with Manchester United playing at the high level and attaining success so far in this season'’ Champions league competition.

However, for Manchester United to attain success this season the Red Devils will have to maneuver their way around this new massive issue called the COVID-19 virus which seems to limit the Red Devils from having a fully functional squad prolonged. so far this season. At the moment, the virus seems to have a 35% factor standing between the Red Devils and success this season. at the moment, the virus continues to be a marginal stumbling block that the Red Devils just can't seem to ignore permanently this season with reoccurring effects of the virus impact in Manchester United team in some portions of the season so far.

At the moment COVID-19 continues to be an issue that a lot of journalists predicted might play a factor not just for Manchester United specifically but for any football club in Europe striding to achieve top success at the end of this season. New information received towards the tail end of 2021 suggests that Manchester United might still be without some players as the season progresses as a result of the after-effects of a COVID outbreak which hit Manchester United early to middle of December 2021.,

Right now, due to the current list of players absent within the Manchester United team as a result of COVID regulations registered as minimal to none, the Red Devils are still on course to finish this season on a high with a third-place finish in the Premier League table very achievable for Ralf Rangnick's’ side. With Manchester United currently operating with a fully healthy squad as of early January 2022, the Red Devils appear to be the only obstacle standing between Manchester United attaining a place in the top four on the Premier League table as well as winning the Champions League at the end of this season.

What this means is that considering the level of quality Manchester United have on their squad and considering the next few games coming up for Manchester United, playing below par football appears to be the only limitation standing between Manchester United and securing a spot in the top 4 of the Premier League table. Furthermore, playing below power football appears to be the only obstacle standing between the Red Devils and the chance of potentially winning the Champions League competition at the end of this season.

Outcomes that continue to be projected as possible goals to be achieved by Manchester United under Ralf Rangnick come to the end of this season if Man United can retain the presence of a completely healthy squad for the rest of the season.

However, the highest rate of success or Manchester United which at the moment is projected to be finishing the season as one of the top three teams in the Premier League table and making a massive run in this season Champions League competition remains plausible for Manchester United but only if the red devil maintains a fully healthy squad and hopefully retain the low level of impact the COVID-19 virus has had on the Manchester United from now until the end of the season.

Should the covering 19 viruses spread amongst the Manchester United team limit the presence of key players in Ralph Rangnick’s team the Red Devils might potentially see themselves lose ground on the race for top four in this season's Premier League table.  Progress such as maintaining strong performance in this season's UEFA Champions League competition might ultimately come undone if Manchester United are to lose key players for the rest of the season as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak occurring within the Carrington ground,

So far, the news of the COVID outbreak  happening at Manchester United as reported in late November 2021 has had minimal impact on the team but this goes on to show that the level of care and attention provided by the club to prevent the spread of the virus within the team must not be taken for granted especially considering the toll the absence of key players will take within this Manchester United squad.

Realistically, the absence of a key player might be the little difference that determines what the outcome of this season might be for Manchester United.
