What was understood to have transpired during the 2022 January transfer window was that both clubs Olympic Marseille and RB Leipzig were in desperate need to offload these two players. As a result of both the French club and the German club's desperation to offload these two players just to avoid losing the two players without any return Investment during the 2022 summer transfer window, French side Olympic Marseille and German side RB Leipzig would have taken any decent offer for the services of each of these players during the 2022 January transfer window.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A situation which Manchester United could have quickly capitalized on to avoid the projected heated race against other teams to secure the signature of either of these players. Alas, that was not the case and as a result, Manchester United will most likely enter a 2022 summer transfer window where the search for a central defensive midfielder will resume  

 

However, Manchester United is projected to be a club that will most likely lose out not only in the upcoming race to secure the services of Declan Rice, but Manchester United is also projected to Lose out on securing the services of players such as Amadou Haidara, Boubakar Kamara and Frank Kesse as a result of the understanding that these players have their sights set on destinations other than Old Trafford during the upcoming 2022 summer season.

A player whom Manchester United are understood to have the full backing of a good portion of the media and the support of the vast majority of Manchester United fans in the UK all encouraging the Glazers to trigger a 100% commitment into the pursuit of Declan Rice as the “ONLY” suitable option the club should fight to sign this upcoming 2021 summer transfer window according to the Manchester United and according to the English media.
