MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE NOW TIED DOWN KEY PLAYER TO LONG-TERM EXHORBITANT CONTRACT DESPITE MANCHESTER UNITED'S INABILITY TO ATTAIN TOP SUCCESS WITHIN THE LAST DECADE (Part VII)

(Part 1- 6 of the articles can be found on the Manchester United Channel website)

If the entire premise built around the argument of whether or not Manchester United should present French midfielder Paul Pogba with a new contract worth a passive income is that players need to earn the title of being branded a big game player for Manchester United with the rite of passage towards earning a big contract at Manchester United known to be to lead Manchester United to win at least one major trophy, then the idea of offering Bruno Fernandes such a massive contract becomes rather a head-scratcher at its core essence.

If the idea around offering Bruno Fernandes a new platinum contract is that Manchester United have seen Bruno Fernandes as their best player on the pitch and the Red Devils plan to rebuild around the Portuguese midfielder even though Bruno Fernandes has indeed struggled this season, then the obvious next step must be to question the logic behind the apparent approach taken by the Manchester United board to overlook the struggles Bruno Fernandes has displayed in the quest to lead Manchester United to attain top success.

If the idea of giving a struggling player another chance while providing a better platform for the plate is performed better, hoping that the platform will project the player toward excelling at the football club, then certainly retaining some of the quality players within the current Manchester United roster whom can match up with the current, ever-increasing, demands maybe at Manchester United of delivering top-quality performance week after week. This appears to certainly be the right next step the new Manchester United manager needs to take towards returning Manchester United back to the top.

Why keep Bruno Fernandes when you are going to let go of key assets around Portuguese midfielders such as Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba especially when all three players have all experienced times of struggle at the same time in a Manchester United Jersey?

With the key knowledge that key players such as Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba can still play vital parts on the road towards any future success generated by Manchester United at least for the next two years, Manchester United will certainly need this place quality to maintain quality within this Manchester United team during the upcoming Transition process towards success.

Therefore, considering the Idea that the potential, upcoming rebuild project which is scheduled to start off at Manchester United during the 2022 summer transfer window will most likely have a life span of two or three years before Manchester United can finally see top achievements such as winning major trophies coming out of the rebuild project under new manager Erik Ten Hag, the idea of releasing some of the key players within this Manchester United team certainly becomes rather illogical.

At the moment, the understood plan set to be embarked by Manchester United under the leadership of Erik Ten Hag will be that, with the idea of the anticipated rebuild project set to last three years before actual major trophies can be won by Manchester United, the possibility of retaining the services of older players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford for a few more years in an attempt to use the presence of these players to maintain some quality within the Manchester United team will be a great angle Manchester United should explore over the next two years.

A situation that can keep the Red Devils afloat for a couple of years while the new rebuild project is expected to entail the assembly of young players for the future as the logical approach which should be implemented. within the Manchester United team over the next few years.

With a rebuild on the way, retaining the services of experienced players who can deliver quality on the pitch and at least maintain Manchester United's presence at and around the top of the Premier League table becomes a reasonable idea that Manchester United might want to think about about about with this summer.

From a logical aspect, a gradual rebuild through the implementation of new players integrated with some of the current players who have proven to deliver some level of quality and the pitch for Manchester United might have been the right route for the club to take in terms of avoiding a Minute download spiral while the rebuild project is taking place over the next two or three years.

In other words, taking the route of gradually easing out players whose quality on the pitch is expected to decline over the next few years there is a quality decline due to aging should be the better, logical, route to take for a Manchester United team on a potential, long term, rebuild project scheduled to take place under new manager Erik Ten Hag.

During the 2022 summer transfer window, Manchester United is anticipated to operate with the intent of avoiding the massive decline which comes with the process of any long-term rebuild project in modern football.

For this to happen, Manchester United will need to establish the presence of a young team with a handful of quality veterans who can keep Manchester United afloat while the upcoming rebuild set to kick off at Old Trafford at the start of the 2022/23 season is initiated.

At the moment, what is understood of the rebuild project is that

the projected course of the rebuild process poised to commence this 2022 summer transfer window is that the rebuild process which will take place under Erik Ten Hag's tenure is set to last for two years at the very least before Manchester United can expect to see the fruit of the labor of the long rebuild process manifest itself in the form of major trophies won by Manchester United

With Manchester United understood to be intent on securing the services of three players in total the 2022 summer transfer window with players such as Frankie de Jong, Jurian Timber, and potentially Darwin Nunez or Richarlison is all understood to be on the radar of Manchester United, the Red Devils might have a completely different squad come to the start of the 2022/23 season.

However, what's understood so far is that at the moment, there is no 100% clarity on the situation of these players. However, what's also been understood so far is that Manchester United is expected to have made contact, or Manchester United is projected to make contact with clubs whom these players are currently playing for within the next couple of weeks.

The understood roster shakeup is pre-determined to take place at Manchester United this 2022 summer transfer window certainly has received the green to commence at Manchester United.  What is understood as the current situation Manchester United Is currently undergoing is that a high volume of continuous contact with various clubs Is set to really kick into full effect at Manchester United throughout the 2022 summer season as new manager Erik Ten Haig is expected to have a few days of reprieve to get his feet on the ground before the true managerial job will then commence at Manchester United.

.

George Best, Eric Cantona, Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Gary Pallister, Bobby Charlton, Bryan Robson. Denis Law. Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand. The list of really great Manchester United players who have worn the Manchester United Jersey over the years really does go on and on and on.

This is mostly because there have been almost countless players who have stepped into the Manchester United shirt and simply delivered phenomenal performances which were able to take Manchester United football club to the next level in terms of the history of enriched success Manchester United has been able to generate over the years.

The fact is that these top players who have been listed as top earners in Manchester United's history have been known to stand in the front line and lead the successful pursuit of top honors attained at Manchester United at the time these top players had played for the Red Devils.

Historically, Manchester United has had the rich tradition of handing out exorbitant contracts to a good list of Manchester United players over the years.

However. history has proven that any exorbitant contract which had been handed out to various Manchester United players, particularly during the Ferguson era, was only handed out to players who had fulfilled the request demanded from any top player at Manchester United.

A demand which trotted along the lines of unwritten such as that each top player at Manchester United must justify their top player at Manchester United while subsequently justifying the exorbitant contract expected to be headed in the direction of some of these top players by delivering top performances which have secured Manchester United one or two major trophies at the very least in the past before these exorbitant contracts are signed, sealed and delivered to these players.

Therefore, considering these unwritten rules which supposedly continue to reign Supreme at Manchester United and considering the list of demands presented to any Manchester United player who intends to ascend these steps towards being declared a high-rank Player or a top earner at Manchester United, the question should rightfully be asked- has Bruno Fernandes done enough to ascend the steps to that special area reserved for the higher echelons players at Manchester United?

While this question is being pondered, consider this next question- What makes Bruno Fernandes's situation any different situation from the situation Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford found themselves in Manchester United?
