MANCHESTER UNITED WOMEN'S TEAM HAVE HISTORY OF MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB AS A MASSIVE, COMPASS TO LEAD THE RED DEVILS TO ATTAIN TOP SUCCESS( Continued)

(Early parts of this article can be found on the Manchester United Channel website)

In the last couple of months, the Manchester United women’s team has had to come up against tough opponents in the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

During matches embarked on by the Manchester United Women's team where Mark Skinner's side faced up against all three of these opponents, the Red Devils had shown signs of life by firing on all cylinders from the first whistle in every game. In so doing,, Manchester United Women's team took the game to the top three teams in the Barclays FA Women Super League and made aspects of the game portray the match as very competitive in some stages.

What was observed was that in all three games in which the Manchester United women's team had faced up against all of the current big three teams in the Barclays FA Women's Super League, The Red Devils took the fight to the top three contenders in the early part of the matches in the three meetings between Manchester United and the Top three teams in the women's division.

However, what subsequently Orcad was that the Manchester United women's team Found themselves one out As the game progressed deeper in the second half and the opponents,

As a result of the deep roster was able to maintain the level of quality needed to win matches, while the Manchester United Women still struggled as a result of the lack of various options needed to maintain the quality on the flanks for the Red Devils.

While this momentum continued at least until the end of the first half of each of the games where the Red Devils face up against the top three teams of the BAFAWSL, there was always an inkling feeling residing in each of these games that Manchester United might somehow get the much-deserved points from the games against the top three teams in the Barclays FA Women's Super League as a result of the level of performance which the Red Devils were able to deliver in all three games against the top three teams of the Barclays FA Women's Super League.

However, the level of quality displayed by the Manchester United team has seemingly dropped during the second half against the top sides this season.

A few critics have taken the opportunity to justify their notion that the Manchester United women's team is simply not good enough yet to be classified as contenders for the Barclays FA women Super League trophy.

Some have gone as far as to claim that the Manchester United women's team is a team whom hasn't even reached the height of being considered serious contenders to qualify for Champions League football let alone consider a team able to compete for the biggest trophy in English women's 1st division football known as the Barclays FA Women's Super League trophy

Nevertheless, what's been observed from the Manchester United women's team throughout last season is a situation where the Red Devils found themselves experiencing a stumbling block in It handful of games particularly in the flanks as the Manchester United struggle to implement rotations on the flanks to keep the Injection of quality in the game coming from the flanks fresh throughout the season.

Realistically speaking, Manchester United women's team has exactly two players who can claim to be authentic out and out wingers with Manchester United manager Mark Skinner having revealed this exact level of discrepancy which remains very existent within the Manchester United Women in some areas of the team throughout last season.

This situation was highlighted as a result of the decision made by Manchester United manager Mark Skinner to implement some players who aren't really known to operate best on the flanks to noticeably fill in on the flanks as makeshift wingers.

A decision that was understood to have been unwillingly imposed upon the Manchester United Women's team as a result of the lack of natural wingers within the Manchester United women's team.

With the 2022 January transfer window closing on the 31st of January, Manchester United basically walked away from yet another opportunity to secure one or two creative extra wingers for Mark Skinner.

Even though the Red Devils did in fact make substantial moves that have ultimately strengthened the Manchester United women's team to some degree as a result of short term loan acquisitions of quality players such as Signe Brunne, Diane Caldwell, and Jade Moore- three quality players who have already shown that they are capable of delivering a good measure of quality into this Manchester United women's team- The fact of the matter is that none of these players can provide the level of quality needed on the wide flanks where Manchester United have proven to be depleted in-depth quality simply because all three players were not known to be natural out-n- out wingers.

This is not to say that Manchester United does not need to secure the services of players such as Signe Brunne, Diane Caldwell, and Jade Moore because the quality of this play has proved essential for Manchester United down the stretch of the season. The option presented here is that provide new contracts to out of contact players namely Katie Zellem, Ona Battle, Millie Turner, Hayley Ladd,

Signe Brunne, Diane Caldwell, and Jade Moore which will see these players remain at Manchester United for at least 3 more years permanently will certainly be the more realistic, positive, route for the club to take this 2022 summer season.

The point being provided here is that Manchester United will need to endeavor to not only secure the services of these three players as well as endeavor to secure the services of out of contract players who are currently present within present within the Manchester United Women's team but Manchester United must also endeavor to add more quality throughout the 2022 summer transfer window in the form of one or two wingers signed to improve the quality delivered on the flanks for the red devils next season

With the 2021/22 Barclays FA Women Super League season now officially over, nothing can take away from the fact that the Manchester United Women's team will have achieved another massive level of improvement with the football played the Manchester United women's team.

A level of improvement has subsequently pushed the Manchester United women's team towards achieving the greater goal which Is understood to have been set for the Manchester United women's team with the greater goal being to see the Manchester United women's team win major trophies in the future.

With the season now over and the Manchester United Women's team having valiantly pushed the top three teams in the Barclays FA Women's Super League to the limit in the battle of top three supremacy with the ultimate prize being the intent to attain the ultimate goal of securing Champions League football, a goal which the Red Devils fought valiantly to attain but ultimately failed to attain at the end of the season, the last few games of last season certainly showed Manchester United women's team can display impressive character and top quality on the football pitch.

Traits which frankly had been very much nonexistent within the Manchester United women's team in some games played by Manchester United women's team last season.

Despite coming up short of the greater goal which the Manchester United women's team had set for themselves at the end of last season, what has surely been witnessed is that the Manchester United women's team has taken another step in the right direction in the growth, development, and progression of the Manchester United women's team.

As a result of Manchester United women's team’s ability to display some level of impressive quality, the subsequent outcome of the level of improved football displayed by the Red Devil this past season has gotten a few eyebrows raised once again in regards to what to expect from the Manchester United women's team moving forward.

The impressive level of improved football displayed by the Manchester United women's team this past season will certainly play a major factor in regards to expectations of seeing the Manchester United women's team meeting expectations and potentially superseding expectations of what's to come from the Red Devils next season.

However, the biggest achievement which will play a massive part for the Manchester United women's team in terms of the Red Devils taking massive strides towards attaining top success will certainly be Manchester United's ability to retain the current shape or mold of the Manchester United women's roster in regards to retaining the current players within the Manchester United women's team.

A situation that will come under close observation for the Manchester United women's team to ascertain the level of progress the Manchester United women's team has established for themselves coming into next season.

With the three-year mark now elapsed, next season will be the pivotal season that will decide if the Red Devils have truly used the experience and knowledge gained from the Manchester United Women team's three-year experience In the Barclays FA Women Super League to Improve their football to the level at which the Manchester United Women team will be able to hold a candle against some of the top teams in the Barclays FA Women's Super League.

One action which might at least increase the pace of stepping into the next stage of growth towards attaining top success will be if Manchester United’s decision-makers- Manchester United Board and Manchester United coaching staff- secure all three players in Signe Bruun, Jade Moore, and Diane Caldwell to long term contracts which will see these three players become Manchester United players permanently at the end of this season.

A move that will ultimately prevent the level of quality within this Manchester United remains in from experiencing any level of depletion and a move that will definitely boost the level of quality of this Manchester United women's team heading into next season. At the moment, there is no information received so far that signifies Manchester United is poised to prevent an exit for quality, experienced, striker Signe Bruun as the  French striker still holds a strong potential of returning to parent club Paris Saint-Germain this 2022 summer season.

Nevertheless, the progress made by the Manchester United women's team last season and the potential progress of signing current out of contract players to a new contract, an outcome understood set to potentially happen at Manchester United this 2022 summer season, will hopefully spur Manchester United's football director to address the bigger issue at stake within the Manchester United women's team

Issues such as Manchester United Women's team poised to have a depleted quality on the flanks unless the Manchester United Board once again delivers a few more improvements such as signing quality wingers to balance out the level of quality delivered by the Manchester United women's team in all areas of the pitch for an entire season.

An issue that will most likely have a part to play in the final outcome of next season and future seasons to come unless Manchester United addresses this issue in the upcoming 2022 summer transfer window.
