Manchester United Making Progress In Their Climb Back Towards The Top Under Erik Ten Hag - How Long Until Ten Hag Takes Manchester United Back To The Top In The Premier League and Top Of The Champions League? (Part IV)

The fact is that there is some level of truth in the projected idea which had been floated around the media in the early stages of Erik Ten Hags' tenure as Manchester United manager.

The idea which had circulated in the early period of new Manchester United managers’ tenure- basically in the first one or two months into Erik Ten Hags regime as Manchester United manager- is that one glance at the level the current Manchester United team was performing with in the post Paul Pogba era called for a serious re-evaluation of the idea that Paul Pogba was the reason behind the depleted level of football which Manchester United had displayed over the past three years.

There is still no doubt that a good portion of the players who had known departed Old Trafford in search of new pastures evidently add a hand to play in the shambolic level of football that the Red Devils had displayed for the past seven years at least.

However, the fact that Manchester United is still struggling to find Solid ground in the current restructuring process as a result of some key areas which had been vacated by some of these players- the central midfield specifically- Yet to be Filled with substantial quality since the start of the current season as a result of Erik Ten Hag giving certain players who had been a key part of the Manchester United squad over the past three years an opportunity to feature in his new Manchester United team Speaks volumes to how much of an issue Manchester United still has to address add the start of the 2023 summer transfer window- the clear out and rebuild process is over not by a long shot.

Manchester United started this season with the intent of implementing a project built around a particular decision that had arrived as a result of Erik Ten Hag’s firm choice to give certain players who have been in the team before the Dutch manager’s arrival an opportunity to show the new manager what these players are capable of displaying in quality. Surface to say that an abysmal losing streak which saw Manchester United lose matches to Brighton and Bradford provided Erik Ten Hag with a clear, stark, reminder of some of the shocking subpar quality players that Manchester United had been or have been working with for the past few years with a handful of this subpar players still found within the current Manchester United team.

As certainly progress being established within the very early stages of Erik Ten Hags’ reign as Manchester United manager. with three more years at the very least still left to go, there is no denying that the expectation under Erik Ten Hag is one of a progressive state which is expected to translate to major trophies won by Manchester United in 2024. However, the “hidden message” which is now very much translucent around Manchester United is that the issue which had stagnated growth at Manchester United went beyond the presence of one specific midfielder at Manchester United.

Manchester United struggled as a collective and not as a result of the projected reason which had been perpetrated by the English media for the past few years which is that one player specifically had held Manchester United to ransom in terms of the farce which had been circulated by the English media that the player had chosen to play subpar football with no issues whatsoever limiting the player's ability and the pitch

The now-understood fact provided about this Erik Ten Hag Manchester United team is that rate of depletion in the level of football displayed by Manchester United before the introduction of the Erik Ten Hag era is understood to be reported rooted to a combination of the presence of fairly inept managers coupled with the presence of an uncomfortable level of subpar players who had been at Manchester United before the Erik Ten Hag era - with some of these players still understood to be registered as Manchester United players.- continuously delivering subpar performances when elite football is needed by Manchester United on a weekly bases as players who simply know mad the status of Manchester United players in regards to the level of quality demanded to continue to operate within this Manchester United team.
