Decent season filled with  negatives  and  positives , that seems to be the  echoes  coming out the red half of Manchester as the season in general reaches its climax in a few weeks time. The transition from the current season, – the preseason- the summer  business  activity,- to the new season is like an old record that is constantly on repeat. You know the words, you know you don’t want to play the record or don’t need...

It’s been a bumpy week for the football club this past week as the club remember the most Iconic players  who   tragically   passed  away years ago in a sad plan crash and the club took a moment of silence to remember the fallen heroes.                                                                                                     www.dailymail.uk           The  remembrance  was memorable but the game itself was one to forget for the Old Tra...

The International break is over and the football matches played by the participating countries was a thrill to watch. The matches were filled with very surprising and very eye results as well. From Frances surprising defeat in the hands of an impressive Colombian national team - to England's narrow victory over the mighty Netherlands- who saw that coming?. Then there was Argentina’s convincing 2-0 victory over italy. And let’s not forget spain's battle with the German machines which eventually concluded in a 1-1 draw. I am sure the audience could barely keep their eyes off the match between Spain and Germany for the entire ninety minutes, I know I certainly could not! But what a thrill ride the International break was and the matches that were played over the weekend has me looking forward and eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Fifa World Cup over the cause of this coming summer season.         ...

The truth about Manchester United's current season is that, yes the club have failed to accomplish the managers' goal of winning at least one major championship trophy this season so far and the club The only remaining opportunity for a trophy this season seems to rest on winning the ongoing FA Cup competition but the criticism Manchester United has been receiving this season so far seems to have contributed to the level of performance some of the Manchester Unite...

Image from The Republic of Mancunia            Under the Shadows of Manchester City. Who would have ever seen that statement being used to describe such a prestigious club such as Manchester United but the reality is that in  comparison  between both Manchester Clubs at the moment, Manchester City are light years away ahead of our own Manchester United. But Manchester City having the upper the hand over Manchester United have not always been the case as everyone is aware. In the past, during the ferguson era, United were seen as the clear dominant team in Manchester and the club were always able to justify the proclamation  by playing  spectacular , eye catching football night after night, winning domestic titles and winning european titles season after season. Manchester United became so dominant around the world of football that the expectation of winning at least one major  trophy  per season became a ...
